I have tried making my own salsa ,but for some reason it doesn't turn out.But I don't have home grown tomatoes.Do you think thats the reason? Could be...it would definitely make a difference. |

Viv do you make your on hot salsa?I know in Texas you call it something different. My daughter makes her own salsa..it's much better than anything you can buy in the store. She uses home grown tomatoes and peppers when we have them, otherwise just buys the ingredients from the store and puts them together. She makes her own guacamole also. This is something I will really miss when she moves out in the spring.. |

How are you doing? Are you busy at work? I am doing OK. Back at work two days now, and still running into people who "just heard" about my dad....I'm getting used to that now. Other than that...work itself is busy. And after just 2 days, I had to rest today..
What? I have been gone since Jan. 18th......I am so sorry I missed it! Can I help in any way? Thanks, Mary.... My father died suddenly on January 27th... the weekend was difficult, but things are mostly back to normal...except I need alot more sleep than usual.... must be a stress reaction... |

Well girlie whats up with you?? Back to work on Jan. 18th....tough crowd... Computer has been down. What have I missed? Tell me about your job,please,Mary... I don't remember if I knew what you were going to be doing.....? I am working at a school for very troubled children....Mostly behavioral for one reason or another. LOTS of stress, but is also rewarding. I am in a class with 8 young men....all VERY spirited...it is , shall we say....different! I haven't been hit, had a chair thrown at me, or bit yet, but yelled at quite a few times....

Hi Jan how have things been going with you? Getting back to normal. I went back to work Wednesday. I must say I am pleased with the weather. I ordered NO MORE than 6 inches of snow, with NO ICE...
And that is exactly what we got... 
We got lucky and only got an inch this time...suppost to get slammed again on Monday. Up to 40 some inches here so far this winter! I believe we've gotten about 40 total as well. Only one big one in there, though....the city shut down for a few hours one time. We are paying now for all those mild winters we've had the past several years....
