I did get sent to the vice-principal's office and had to sit outside and wait with a bunch of creeps that were ALWAYS in trouble. There I sat in my Suzy Sorority outfit with Juicy Fruit breath.

I became a full time nanny at eleven. Got "secretly" married the second year I was in High School. Everybody knew but kept their mouth shut so I didn't get officially kicked out. Worked full time so wasn't there but half days the last two years. Wasn't in any particular group but friendly with most. My husband was a graduated ex football captain so most were nice to me. Had a then almost new Dodge Charger RT so into raceing. Did a lot of art work for various activities. Spirit posters and decorateing for school parties. Photographer for the annual and wrote for a statewide newspaper. Graduated with a full art school scholarship so was working on my portfolio a lot then. To be truthful I don't think I was ever one of the "kids".

I went to a new high school sort of in the country and drugs were unheard of but the year after I left they arrived. Cheerleader, Student Council and got in trouble once for chewing gum in the hallway.
