a little help from the freedom from fictions site

About Us
Freedomfictions.com is a subsidiary of the “America’s Last Line of Defense” network of parody, satire, and tomfoolery, or as Snopes called it before they lost their war on satire: Junk News

About Fake News
Call it whatever you like. Just don’t call it something it isn’t. Don’t email us asking for a “source.” Don’t inform us that our stories aren’t true. We have so many disclaimers now that the disclaimers are satirical. We make sure the words “satire” or “fiction” appear in EVERY category BEFORE the story. Twice.

If you can seriously read this stuff and think it can be passed off as real to reasonable people, you need to go out, right now, and buy a sense of humor and a clue.

Internally, I am attracted to a person with a witty, clever sense of humor(like Jim on The Office). I am attracted to a quietly confident (humble but not shy or insecure) person. I am attracted to old fashioned males with a sense of chivalry, who can appreciate an old fashioned domestic (yet intelligent) female. A music and movie/tv lover is definitely a plus.

Externally, I am attracted to a male with healthy skin and teeth. I am attracted to a male that just naturally takes some care of himself physically, as opposed to having a second home at the gym.

I am attracted to a male who is taller than I am (I am 5'8"), with broad but not Hulk like shoulders, who doesn't look like a lady(if you get the reference, that's sexy too). Of course, a guy who carries himself with 'swag' overrules any height or shoulder preferences ...lol.

Of these things, the one I would say MOST catches my eye and my attention would be a tie between the swag and the sense of humor.

I am waiting for 2020 to really get into the viable candidates. I am hoping we have SOMETHING better than the washed up real estate mogul/Emperor, someone who actually knows something about the position, its responsibilities and constraints, and how government is a three branch entity, not a dictatorship. But it has not been often in my lifetime that the president has not had two full terms. Biden is another false narrative that has no juice for any investigation, imho.

The only answer I know is 'when you are ready and of legal age'. People who have hard times with commitment or weathering hard times will be susceptible to divorcing, whatever age they marry. People who have a strong sense of commitment and loyalty will do well whatever age they marry.

I agree. Children are, by nature, evolving, learning, and growing. Decisions that will be permanently life changing should not be left to how they 'feel' during childhood and adolescence. These decisions are best made by 'mature' adult minds instead. Let them learn their ANATOMY first. Once they are grown, they should be able to determine if they want to alter the appearance of their anatomy, whatever the reason.

Religion is a construct. It cannot be homophobic or sexist. People can be 'sexist' and 'homophobic'.

If we label any separation or definition of man and woman and standards expected from them as sexist, doctrine can support 'sexist' belief.

If we label any expectation regarding people's sexual behaviors 'phobic', doctrine can support 'phobic' beliefs as well. Personally, I feel both terms are overused and cliche.

With Trump, if you don’t perform “you’re fired “! If only we could get him to fire Congress because all they do is obstruct him. The Russian hoax! Kavanaugh! US MCA sitting on Nancy Pelosi‘s desk for months and nothing happening. Infrastructure, nothing happening due to Democrats! Prescription drugs, Trump has done executive legislation but absolutely nothing from the Democrats! The economy was so much less regulation and job growth through the roof for African-Americans, Hispanics, women, all at record record lows since reporting began.

Folks hate this President because CNN told them to.
Vote Red or vote Socialist

Don't assume you speak for any other folks sir. Sounds like fox propaganda to me.
Millions of us dislike him for many reasons I will not list as others have said and I agree with their reasons. I will add he is trying to bypass our three party system. In his own words he can do as he likes, he is above the law and could shoot anyone on 5th ave and get away with it. NOBODY is above the law.
Fighting with our allies and buddy buddy with tyrants. Wannabe dictator and if we don't check him now, he will show any future presidents they can do as they please. He is not a king, only in his mind.

1000 times yes. OBama had to stop us from sinking into a depression. Bush had to contend with 9/11. This president has a cakewalk, and he is even screwing that up with his brand of fictional narratives, divisive rhetoric, and running the office as if the US is his personal business for his and his buddies personal profits.

I think most people will support stronger penalties for the illegal use or possession of a firearm. I think they would also support some level of required knowledge and emotional stability to purchase. What they will not support is the government or some other organization knowing who has a firearm and what that firearm is.

How else do we track if someone is supposed to have that weapon?
You put everyone through the same test of allowed to own/purchase. Those that are approved get it noted on their government issued ID. With that approved ID, they are allowed to purchase and possess. Even those who ow have no interest in owning or purchasing a weapon still go through the background test. The goal is to make sure someone purchasing or owning a weapon is a safe, law-abiding individual not how many and type of firearm they may own!!

and if a law abiding owner uses their weapon in a crime, or steals another law biding owner's weapon, how do we assign who legally owed THAT weapon?

I am so against premeditated taking of life.

I'm confused.
Are you pro-life or Pro- choice?

i do not agree with scheduling deaths. So an appointment to come in and end human life is not something I am for.

1st rule in gun safety.
Never point a gun at anyone unless you INTEND on shooting.
I really don't believe the left is interested in saving lives. If they were, they'd be down with very harsh consequences for the criminal.
All I've seen is they want to punish law abiding citizens for the actions of bad people.
Then again, guns don't kill near as many innocents than Planned Parenthood.

I really think law abiding citizens are not being punished in any way, but criminals are prosecuted. I am interested in saving lives, which explains why I do not support taking lives just to deter çrime, but only as a payment, if you will, for someone who has actually taken a life. EVen then I prefer them be incarcerated, because I am so against premeditated taking of life. But at least I can understand some logic to a life for a life, even if I do not agree it is the best approach.

Showing a gun in a crime shows intent.
Any criminal intent should require a death penalty.
As with Fast and Furious. Anyone involved in that should be executed for illegally supplying criminals with arms.

showing a gun does not prove intent to kill, in my opinion although it does justify reasonable effort by the viewer to act cautiously or react defensively, depending upon the context of the situation. And if a life has not taken, my opinion is that responding by taking life is not justified.

Ouch. I do not want mandatory death penalty for anything. I prefer case by case, based on if a life was taken and the details and context of that event. As it stands, I believe supply and demand invoke greed. So long as there are people wanting something, there are people willing to supply. Since we cannot stop people from wanting the illegal products, I believe it more productive to deter the availability of those illegal products instead, whether it be guns or drugs. Those deterrents should have consequencs that are just and commiserate however.

Japan has the fewest gun deaths per year in the world. Japan has some of the strictest gun laws in the world and experiences 100 or fewer gun deaths per year in a population of over 127 million and a gun death rate of .06 deaths per 100,000 people. In order for Japanese citizens to purchase a gun, they must attend an all-day class, pass a written exam, and complete a shooting range test scoring at least 95% accuracy. Candidates will also receive a mental health evaluation, performed at a hospital, and will have a comprehensive background check done by the government. Only shotguns and rifles can be purchased. The class and exam must be taken again every three years.

I would support something like this. WE have a large percentage of emotionally unstable people who should not be handling guns. We need stricter deterrents/laws for those who provide or sell them illegally too.

In life or online, narcissism is a turn off, as well as bigotry and lazy thinking, or illogical political or religious bias.

IT is like any relationship. Inadequate performance can be the percpetion of either party (employer and empoyee). A relation works when BOTH parties consider the NEEDS of the other, and not just themselves. When there is not greed, that is more likely to happen.

I feel good about having him as President for another term.
He's done more good for our country than every President since Reagan.

Interesting. Any examples of the 'good'he has done, comparative to all presidents since Reagan, who by the way oversaw a Doubling of our debt while in office? Are you sure of these claims or just repeating Trumps truthful hyperboles, or as I call them, fantasies.

Greed is what keeps capitalism from working it's best. And because people are greedy, every economic system will have be effected. If not for greed, every ecoomic system would work perfectly, in theory, in my opinion.

Thank you for your reply.
Can you explain how greed keeps capitalism from working its best?

Capitalists claim totally opposite of what you claim. They say that greed actually is the one that makes people work under a capitalist system. They claim without greed humans cannot work enough and they will be lazy and whole planet would fail.

I'm interested to know how greed keeps capitalism from working its best, then? Greed is a bait used by bourgeois to make men work their best. When in fact, studies proves that a human works best only when he works for his passion and the work he loves doing. That is his/her best shot. Greed proves to make men lose their lives working off whole days without happiness. Some even quit their jobs and get to depression out of overworking for greed. In the end a perfect man finds happiness only in the labor(job) he loves.

My colleague has a well paying job. He gets all facilities and he manages to be upper middle class. He works 10 hours a day and gets extra amount of pay for his work. In just one year, he feels isolated he doesn't get enough sleep. He has no time for family. He has no time for himself. His whole life is workaholic. That's the image of a greedy man in capitalist society.

I can start with my understandng of capitalism and greed.

First, capitalism:an economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state.

Now greed: intense and selfish desire for something, especially wealth, power, or food.

According to pew research, a little over ten percent of the workforce are peopke working for themselves, which means almost 90 percent of he workforce are someone's employee.

Now, in order for self employed to compete with the employers who have so much manpower divided amongst so many, they have to work pretty hard, and that is understandable. But the other 90 percent are at the mercy of greed, in terms of how MUCH profit the employer wants to make. To make this profit, employers are often seeking to pay as little as they can get away with, and charge as much as they can get away with. This leaves products and services that are more and more out of reach for those employees that are making pittance. The balance does not work when the approach is motivated by self promotion instead of a community uplift approach. That is what I mean when I say if not for greed, the system works fine. If the approach was less about more and more profit, and more about balancing cost of living with the wages paid, it would work perfectly.
