I talk on the phone or text with quite a few of my friends from on here. I also have had the pleasure of meeting some of them. Soon I will be meeting more when I go to Washington in Sept. I have been online for 10 years now, and can say that in all those years I have met more good people than bad.

I used to go to the Pittsburgh Chat parties that were held once a month. There I met well over 250 people over the years. I am still close with a number of people from that group.

Guess I am the odd one out when it comes to meeting, and talking with people. You just need to do it in a safe manner.

I can relate to this. I am the "friend" and rarely do I date. When it comes to romance I am the invisible woman. When it comes to being a great friend I am front and center. Just keep being yourself, the right one will come along.

I can understand that.

Last night on A1A when I was picking Bec up from work this little old man in a beautiful SUV came driving at me going the wrong way. I got passed him the guy behind me blocked both lanes and came to a stop so he could turn into the Hilton parking garage. I felt bad once I realized that it was someone truly lost and not a drunk.

Give her a hug for me. I have way too much time to spend all the time I do figuring out what to take.

Then theres me, I am looking through my clothes saying what am I going to take. I only have one pair of pants that are long. Rest are capris or shorts...I need to go shopping....

His comments were rude, and it seems like that is getting to be the Norm around here anymore. He did claim to be 4 years old that is under the age allowed on the site, to bad they can't banned him for that claim.

I truly hope that a moderator will be coming in and doing some housekeeping on those comments.


I understand that some people can not afford to go on the cruise, but if your one of those people where does it say it is your right to make rude comments to those who are interested and can go. The cruise is affordable, nice perks were given, and there are 23 to 30 people from Mingle who are interested in it. Sure we are a small majority of Mingle, but even we have the right to have fun, and enjoy Mingle. No where in the rules does it say that RUDENESS is the norm.

I just read it. Did you report it? A moderator hopefully will go in and clean up those nasty comments. I may end up banned if I respond at this point.

It is the reason I have no tv was driving me nuttier than what I am.

Grrr the antenna moved so now we only get one channel and its in Spanish.
