After reading all those posts about love, I felt how open minded the respondents on this topic, except for one. Anyway that doesn't matter because the opinion must be expressed and we have to respect it.

For me, love is not simply about sex. As we all know, we can have sex even without love. Love is not about what we can take from another person. If one says "I love you" because you are the best provider, then, once that provision is gone, the love will be gone as well.

Love - it must start from believing, then accepting, building of trust so we can have faith on the person. Once we have done this, then, there will be great understanding, pride and sensitivity must not get in the way, which means, both have to be selfless.

Now the big question is, in this time of materialistic generation or whatever we want to call this era, is the kind of love I described possible? See how most people neglect the street people, how people run away from people who are in distress needing help, even so-called friends leave their preceious best friend when such friend doesn't have money anymore. There are more. This space is not enough to list them all. Crazy but true.

We must learn from "Love Birds" once one of the partners is separated from the other, both prefers to die instead. I am not saying we kill ourselves when we lost our love one. The lesson simply pictures what "True love is".

Now, is it possible for anyone of us to exibit our true love to the one who is meant for us to be with?
