If that fact is something that will make or break a possibility of a relationship, then I would rather the person ask me before things progressed too far. Also, if someone is that shallow, then I would like to know early on so I can stop talking to them.

We are all just animals. The only difference is that we know of and anticipate/fear death. That is what separates us from the animals.
