Ginanggang. Ginanggang is a
snack food of grilled skewered bananas brushed with margarine and sprinkled with sugar. This particular snack is very popular in Mindanao where it originated. Ingredients Saba banana, peeled and skewered Margarine Sugar Bamboo skewers Instructions 1. Fire up the grill. 2. When the grill is nice and hot, place skewered bananas on the grill. 3. Cook until the outer surface is lightly charred then take the bananas off the grill. 4. Brush each bananas with margarine and sprinkle with sugar or roll each banana on a plate full of sugar. 5. Enjoy! |

Indeed, God bless single mothers. I had cousins who were one of these girls after being pregnant abandoned by the one they love. I salute them for they choose life than abortion. They strive to raised their child in their own hardwork. It's hard to be a single parent, it's hard to raise a child alone, it's harder when you had no work at all. The pain when the father leaves, the pain when people ridiculed and judged you, the pain of childbirth with no one to stand beside you, the pain of raising your child without a father. The pain when your child cried because he was being bullied at school because he has no father. It's an everyday pain for a single mother. Worst pain that folds 10x when her child cried asking about his father. The one who abandoned them. :( It's a hard life, God bless single mothers.

Pinasugbo is made from
thinly sliced bananas which are deep fried then dunked into dark caramel and sprinkled with sesame seeds. These are more chewy than crunchy. They are very sticky and not advisable to people with dentures. |
