A horse is a horse
Of course, of course,
and no one can talk to a horse
of course,
unless of course,
it is the horse,
the famous Mr. Ed!

(I think thats how it went...)

Gas prices are high because demand has outpaced PRODUCTION (pumping,
refining, transport, etc.) not supply... Yes its a finite resource, but
its not a scarce resource.

So I agree with armydoc... current gas prices are temporary, unless a
bunch of politicos decide to apply a higher tax.

Gotta say, not better off with Bush than Clinton, or vice verse...

I'm not particularly impressed with the Bush admin. This admin is a bit
naive when it comes to foreign policy. (Not that Clinton was much
better... naivety seems to be endemic in American politics.)

This is an interesting topic.

Causes me to want to relate my story...

I was married for 15 yrs.

My ex cheated for the first time less than two years after our
wedding... with my best friend who was my best man.
Another was with her best friends husband... I do not know how many
times she cheated. After so many, does it matter?

I was able to forgive the cheating...

What I could not forgive was that she kept telling me that her actions
were my fault...

I was stupid for sticking around so long...

Guitar, bass, cello (a bit), violin (a bit), mandolin, banjo, and
keyboard...

Woohoo! I'm a band unto myself... ;-) If only I could find a drummer
that could count to 4 (LOL)

Two-stepper... I feel for you... loosing what really matters to you...

I'm facing the same loss; but what really sucks is when the other party
does the cheating, and when confronted (calm verbal confrontation),
grabs the kids and runs to another city...

As far as your question... both destroy trust... both cause pain...
both kill the relationship.
