Purity of product eh? I don't even get high anymore but I gotta say I would hate to see an Americanized version of pot. Look how bad we screwed up beer...if you doubt me look at the swill that is Bud, Miller etc. I remember in my bad old days the pride I had when growing some pretty stinky bud. Variety, the spice of life eh? No ****.I drink Ale or local microbrews. |

My daughters school taught that experimentation was okay.I think the rate of teen suicides among gay teens is high so they were teaching tolerance. also sleeping with another woman was/is an in thing.whatever.I'd rather eat a lima bean. My daughter is 24 and at the time she was in high school I signed no permission slip for sex ed.It was part of the curriculum. With my son I am very involved because he is special needs and I have to fight them for everything. |

my beef with this town is the town counselors who have ruined the historical quaintness of my town by alowing develpers to build ugly hotels and conference centers and blocking the water front.We have an 3 million dollar new library and they are taking land which was willed to the city to be public use(open land)only and taking it by eminant domain to build a new jr high.The cost of living sucks,the working class can't afford to live here(unless on subsidized housing) and we are overun with ex Bostonians who are determined to make us little Boston.Makes me sick.I have lived here since I was 15 off and on and the urban sprawl is just alarming. it isnt. |

"eminent domain" Issues and laws are something each of us should be aware of in their own state. Michigan passed a resolution limiting the states power to assert eminent domain. In past states seeking to expand roads build power plants and other projects benefiting the state could take property paying a fair market price. Then a few years ago some private corporations made the arguement that if they could acquire land for their facilities using eminent domain they would be providing jobs and tax dollars thereby benefiting the community. It is absolutely wrong for local, state or federal authorities to take land from individuals under the theory of eminent domain and give it to private owners or corporations. Please, find out what the law is in your state and speak up! You can stop it! They were challenged but took it to the state supreme court and won under a obscure law.I know people have fought it in nearby Newmarket and won.Town wanted to take part of a farm that had been in the family for over a hundred years for a new school(again).Family said go jump in the lake and used the media to launch a grassroots campaign against the town.The town backed off. |

Do you have any knowledge of WWI or WWII!!! Yes I agree Hitler was an evil man that doesnt negate the fact that he was a good leader. Germany was doomed for this after there country destroyed after WWI and was expected to pay for damages in other countrys! For a man to rise the people up like that and dived and conquer as they did is a feat none the less. Just because his mass genocide doesnt make him a poor leader your missing the point! your missing the point! that happens a lot here are you surprised is that a dig ? not an intended one but it is the reality (see threads in philosophy) i havent been there.I'm scared.. check it out but might make you think so tale the battery out of the SMOKE DETECTOR

All the people mentioned were in a war and some enslaved and eliminated whole races of people.Many of them built empires but most ultimately fell out of favor with people.War ,poverty and oppression are not popular for long.
