I went to my sons for a feast, took half of that feast over there with me My children and their S.O.'s had a great time. My son was thankful for a new home in which we celebrated.
I then left to go visit my brothers home and see my Dad for awhile.
He is ill and it will be a miracel if he gets beyond Christmas let alone see next years festifities. Went home by myself full and tierd.
All in all a good day, and I have so very much to be thankful for.

Thankful...

Thankful for the sunrise this very day.

Even if its cloudy with rain and snow on the way.

Thankful for the breaths I breath in and out today.

Crisp clean Autumn air runs through lungs way.

Thankful for family as dysfuntional as it is.

Knowing they sometimes drive me crazy is just the way it tis.

Thankful for my children who now are all adults.

Unbelieveable love when they were born was the results.

Thankful for the gift of mind that enables me to type.

Posting thoughts on paper and showing all the hype.

Thankful for the friends I have in my life.

Especially the ones online who never give me strife.

Thankful for a special man I met here and write on this site.

Perhaps he will finally call me, maybe tonight.

Thankful to Van, Mike, Charles and all the rest of you.

Also to the moderators who know just what to do.

Thankful for the food in my frig.

Mighty grateful for its vestige.

Thankful for the roof over my head.

A place to call home and lay in a bed.

Thankful for the people who give their lives each day.

Trying so hard to let us live a better way.

Thankful for so many things, I could go on and on.

Yet you would stop reading and start to yawn.

Thankful for this moment to say to all of you...
