tears are tears only for a time
a capsule of fears that are mine
and rain it pours so quiet but heard
hushing out each unspoken word
and as you lay calm and still
i sit upon your window sill
knowing that this joy is overwhelming
from every single tear
but do i know its unknown purpose
is it just for fear
splashing on this slanted surface
every single tear

i like the repeating line it holds the poem together. :D very well

why thank you. i wish that it worked the same way for women but we need
looks to catch the eyes of most men. they could care less for our
poetry.

A romance in a time where the only conversation you have is a fight
Where the love you see in his eyes can only be seen with a black light
Where the heart you once held in your hands and prayed for at night
Can never be seen when it’s in a revenge flight
Away from me I want you to go because I do nothing but harm
The past is the future, and the future is the present, and I mean to
have no alarm
I want you to let me go and forget that I exist
Leave me to rot inside this stone walled cist
If was you angel, your love, your life, why do you hurt me just out of
spite
There are a lot of things I regret, and a lot I don’t but I might
So now the scars are building up on the legs and on the arms
You say you don’t want to hurt me but you’ve done so much more harm
Keeping stuff from me and now you like this girl you say
I have a hunch you never cared because it’s only been one more hard day
But I will let you go and wish you well but secretly hold on to you
tight
But this is one of those things I don’t regret which I actually might
I know I deserve all these tears and sorrow because I was the one to
break your heart
But why did I have tears and sorrow before this whole thing got its
start
You over-reacted I understand and I also did too
You said things you didn’t mean which you meant to do
So I forgive all you have done to hurt me in the past
But the past in the future and the future is the present and I guess I
am the last
So go and leave and make a new life based on what you believe

lol! i love picture books. i was just really bored and wrote a story.
sorry it was so long everyone!

She was 13, and her life in high school was about to begin. She had
her best friend Allison, her brother Jake, her family and
her-self…Melissa. Melissa spent most of her time online during the
summer in chat rooms or out with Allison riding bikes or walking around
town. One day she went into chat room Silver. There were a lot of
people in there and one in particular stuck out. Babybob25. Melissa
decided to IM this person. She found out it was a 16 year old girl,
named August. They started a friendship since Melissa was always on.
One day Melissa gave August her phone number and they started talking on
the phone everyday. They learned each other’s lives. August had a
brother named Josh, and Melissa began to like him. She was so excited
to meet them in person. This friendship lasted for 2 months…till the
beginning of her freshman year of high school. It ended quickly because
Melissa’s mom took away her phone and the internet because she had found
out about this secret friendship. Melissa was a good girl. She didn’t
do drugs, or drink, smoke, sneak out, she followed all the
rules…usually, but high school would change everything. It was her
birthday, September 23rd and she was turning 14. She was at the
bowling ally (she was a bowler) and she met this boy. She knew him from
when she was younger but had never talked to him before. They started
talking and the wound up going out. His name was Anthony and he was
15. They went out for about a month, sneaking out to see each other but
this relationship ended quickly. She spent the next 2 months going out
with Allison and Jake every once in a while. Then bowling season
started for her high school. Jake was also on the team and he was
friends with this boy named Michael. Melissa and Michael had known each
other since Melissa was 8 and he was 11. They hung out on the bus to
and from bowling meets. Eventually they started hooking up this lasted
for about three months when she found out he was also hooking up with
one of her best friends, Kelly. So Melissa gave up on Michael but
that’s not the end of him in this story. Three months after her and
Michael stopped talking; she met this boy…Billy. They didn’t hit it off
immediately. Melissa got his screen name from her friend Erica and she
started talking to him. One day she called Erica and was talking to her
and Billy called. She kept switching lines to talk to both of them.
She thought she was talking to Erica when she said “I really like Billy
but I don’t think he likes me…” and it wound up being Billy on the line,
not Erica. Billy asked her out after that and they went on their first
date at the bowling ally. They dated for a long time. They made so
many memories. After 6 months all this came crashing down. Billy was a
very protective boyfriend, and he had heard that Melissa was out to
dinner with another guy and he broke up with her. So Melissa and
Allison were hanging out and decided to go to a party and Michael’s
house. Billy kept calling and apologizing but Melissa wouldn’t pick up
the phone. Michael said to Melissa, “Will you come up stairs with me I
have to talk to you about something…” So Melissa followed him up stairs
into his room. They were alone. Melissa was scared. Allison was down
stairs with all the other boys and she was up here, alone, with him. It
was quite as they lay in his bed. He broke the silence and what she
heard scared her. “If you don’t give me head I’m going to kick you out
of my house right now.” Take into consideration it was 3 in the
morning, dark, and on a dirt road with no lights. So she did it. Not
wanting to. She walked Allison home at 5 and then went home and cried.
She told Allison what had happened and Allison comforted her, but this
wasn’t enough when she found out Michael had told Billy. So she and
Billy were officially over…for now at least. For a week Melissa sat at
home and cried and talked to Billy on line. Billy told her he was going
out with Erica now and Melissa tried to OD on Tylenol. That week as she
sat at home, not eating, crying, and sleeping a new friend came into her
life, Tyler. He took her to a festival and won her all these prizes…he
was one of Jakes friends. He asked Melissa out and she freaked out on
him saying “I just broke up with the love of my life are you crazy?!”
and he went storming out. They didn’t talk for awhile and he started
going out with a girl named Sammy. Well it was a month after her and
Billy had broken up, but Billy still talked to her a lot. Although he
was going out with Erica…Melissa and Erica were no longer friends. It
was the second week of their sophomore year…Billy had transferred to a
private school and Melissa was left at her school with her only friend
Allison. He ditched Erica and came to Melissa’s house and cheated on
Erica with Melissa. Erica found out and broke up with Billy, so Billy
and Melissa began going out again kind of. They weren’t officially
going out but they hung out all the time and they hooked up with each
other. (I forgot to mention that Billy is the boy Melissa lost her
virginity to a month after they started going out.) After another three
months of this Billy decided to go back out with Erica and left Melissa
broke hearted and suicidal again. She was cutting and she had started
drinking and doing drugs and smoking to make Billy and Allison happy.
It was something they could all do together. Melissa was really into
Pot, and so was the next boy she went out with. His name was Kyle.
They only dated for a month, and it’s a month she can’t remember because
all they did was smoke pot and drink. Melissa got in a big fight with
her mom over going to school and wound up beating her mom up. Kyle’s
mom picked up Melissa and brought her to their house. She stayed there
for the day and when her mom wouldn’t take her back she beat her mom up.
They called the police on her and she was taken to a hospital for an
evaluation. They drug tested her and her mom was pissed when she found
out she was smoking Pot. She was sent to In-Patient at a hospital for
10 days. After the ten days she went to Out-Patient where one of her
other friends was at…Matt. Matt got Melissa into coke. And she loved
it. She did it all the time. But all these drugs were the gate way of
what was to happen in the end. Any who…while she was in Out-Patient she
met another boy his name was Kevin. They hooked up but they didn’t work
out. So they ended up just not talking after they both got out of
Out-Patient. Melissa was now addicted to pills, and coke, and weed, and
alcohol. She couldn’t stop. She loved pills like xanex, adderal,
perkaset, and oxycodine. She did them all the time. She took them,
parachuted them (opening the pill and putting the powder in a tissue and
swallowing it), and snorted them. She was only 15 years old. She spent
her summer after In-Patient drinking, smoking, doing lines of coke, and
doing pills. Then Tyler came back into her life. They started dating
and he gave her weed and got her what ever she needed. They wound up
breaking up because it just didn’t feel right. But Tyler became her
drug dealer. And this is where it gets worse. He got her addicted to
Meth. She would do it every day, every night, every weekend with
friends. She got people to start doing it and was bringing him more
business than ever. Her life had been completely ruined. She was
dependant on drugs and now she is dead, not literally, but in her
mind…she is dead. And all this happened in a three year period of time.
How messed up is that? Now its 2 years later, shes off the meth but is
still dependant on pills, pot, and alcohol.
