I think, which has already been mentioned here is the lack of respect and consequences...however, with that said, how much "blame" can one cast on the kids today...I feel that it stems from the foundation that we as parents lay down from the beginning...I feel that parents today have also changed...There are more kids being raised in broken homes today, not that that is an excuse for their behaviour, I just think that there are alot of variables involved here...All I know is that I wouldn't want to be a kid today!..JMO..

To a certain extent; I think it takes some time to know a person's "true nature"...but yes how they treat those they have no reason to be nice is a indicator of one layer to their personality...
