Yes, I do think marriage can survive. I firmly believe that as the Torah commands is not how it will survive. It has evolved.

It is true that people are marrying later in life. I believe that this is a good thing when we consider divorce rates.

Woman are opting to have children without being married. I think this is because they know they want to be mothers long before they know they want to be wives.

Our society has changed so dramatically in the 30 year time frame referenced. It is not an option to have two working partners in today's world if you want to own a home and send your children to school. Woman are now holding lucrative careers that require a lot of their time and energy. They simply are too busy making a living or a name in their younger years to want marriage.

In the long run, I believe we want partners. We are just looking for them later.

I know what you mean sazzle. It will take time, but I am sure there are still a few real men who want relationships out here. I hope, at least 1 for me and 1 for you.

There are a very few instances that I would find this attractive. I feel that it shows little self respect of the beggar and that is a turn off at least for me.
