All I am stating, there are gender related roles in a marriage and or relationship, men and woman are opposites after all, not trying to sound sexiest, just stating a fact.

Regardless of ones belief system, most woman expect the man to lead the family household, not so much from a monetary standpoint, but to lead by example, as to be a loving partner. a protector, the fixer of things, and to kill all the icky creepy crawly things.

I guess this thread comes down to whatever a persons beliefs are, mocking ones beliefs is not very cool.

The bible states that a wife should submit to her husband, god recognizes the husband as head of the family, that the man must also submit to his wife and to take a majority of burdens on his shoulders, while the husband may be more of a figure head, it is usually the woman that runs the home, I use to refer to the ex as the boss.

As far as the younger woman are concerned, they approach me mostly at my work, and I am old enough to know when a woman exhibits interest, I happen to work in a very upscale environment where employees are required to look their best, I am always receiving compliments from especially the young ladies on my appearance and my manner of dress.

I feel they for the most part are under the assumption that I have a pile of money, as in conversations they have stated how they wished they could find someone to take care of them, so they no longer would have to work, and just stay at home and tend to the house, a few have even asked me out, I also have no problem with a woman asking me out, I have dated 2 of these young ladies, but only as a friend and coworker.

Ok let me rephrase this, I do not treat woman or anyone else badly, a better word would be indifferent, what is the deal with all these young woman wanting older men these days, I have nothing against young woman and yes I do find them attractive on a physical level. not however on an emotional level.

I use to be a nice guy, got used by a few woman, now that I have became a bit of a A-hole, get a lot more attention then I use to from woman, even at my age and 2 long term relationships, I still don't understand woman.

I clean because I live alone, if there was a woman at home I suppose I would leave most of the housework to her, but I would help out and pick up after myself.

This may seem a little chauvinist, but after living with two woman, and growing up around mostly females, I have learned a few things, such as no matter how a man tries, the woman is never pleased with the way a man keeps house, I think it is a gender thing, besides most woman take it upon themselves to perform a majority of household duties.

I am a very neat and clean individual, but I could never keep house up to either of my girlfriend's standards, so I just stuck to helping out around the house.
