so, me and my old boyfriend (from 45 years ago) have been hitting it off pretty darn good.. our last get together was for 7 days, 5 days of which we camped.. this just started a couple weeks ago..and we live in different provinces (7 hour drive).. It seems his ex-girlfriend (they broke up back in February, 6 months ago) found out about our get together(s) and has been texting him to meet up and 'talk'..He says they had an ugly breakup and hurt each other and he doesn't want to meet up with her.. They dated for about 8 months.. Old boyfriend is having angst, as he at one time had feelings for her.. I don't know what she is saying to him now..but I know he is developing feelings for me.. I am glad for his honesty in telling me about her texting him. I'm telling him that he is my friend first and if he wants her, then go..I'll set you free...and how awful that one needs to 'choose'... We will see what he does.. he is supposed to be driving here for the long weekend,, arriving Friday. stay tuned, lol Setting him free doesn't mean you don't like him or you don't have a chance for the love between you to flourish. With the presence of her ex gf now, giving him time to think and realize his feelings would be a better thing to do. Let him find his way back to you. If he loves you he will choose you , if he doesn't it's simple he doesn't love you enough to stay with you or he still have hang ups with his previous relationship and only him could realize that. Letting go may not be easy, and waiting is a painful thought not knowing if he will choose to go back to his ex or he will continue to pursue you. Time will tell and only when he comes back to you , I believe it is something to look forward to hang on there Kitty  whatever his decision will be, the earlier you know about his feelings for you the better. Appreciate his honesty for telling you about his ex gf, it's one way of letting you know that you have to trust him ....I believe he is a gentleman and the kind of man who doesn't want to hurt anybody. Planning to meet up and talk with her ex gf may just be an act of politeness and decency for remembering the times they had together... who knows this could be a time for him to let go of his past and say goodbye to it for the last time  stay hopeful with an open heart and open mind think of the infinite possibilities, staying positive in life is the best way to live a happy life with a happy and contented heart goodluck on Friday

We stumble and fall, then we rise again; There's always a rainbow after the rain ; Behind one's smile is a bleeding heart.  if we dwell on our painful past then we can't move on with our lives, it's gonna be like a living dead. Painful endings don't mean it's end of the world, new beginnings stands for hope

Why are people so closed minded to reality ? It depends on every individual's perception of reality. Our lives differ from one another . My reality may not be your reality, your beliefs may not be my beliefs , your understanding of life maybe different from the way I look at it. In our lives we each face different things, events or situations. It is not about being close minded or open minded but our perception of reality depends on what is actually existing in each of our lives and that is what we believe in most of the time thus making us to not accept what others believe in. Some people may say I am closed minded, delusional or idealistic about my belief in the existence of true love it is because they have not witnessed it experienced it but for me it is true because I have seen it happening to the people I'm with and what I observed in my surrounding. For people who have not experienced or seen it then they become closed minded too in accepting my reality.      whatever

Having mixed emotions as I pack my things...... excited to see the place and looking forward to start a new job, nervous about going to a strange place, sad for leaving my family again......still, happy with this new adventure in my life. Looking forward to an infinite possibilities

google is one resource, it has an overabundance of useful, useless, truthful, and untruthful information, opinions, and observations it iS simply a matter of it being 'too much' and weeding out whats bs from whats useful balance is key, google is not and should not be ones only reference in life I agree with you MsHarmony
Google can be very useful in many ways but it has a lot of BS informations too.......just sort out the good ones. You definitely can't Google your life all the time. Experience is still the best teacher. gather the facts and learn through your keen observations and understanding of the reality of life.

I always forget to do this , oh actually just feel lazy to do it , lol.....and now my legs are up on the wall this is good for prevention and treatment of varicose veins and spider veins which develop more often in women than in men especially whose occupations involve a lot of standing like nurses such as you Blondey. I'm sure you always have complaints of aching and cramping legs, and aching feet
I feel good now, my blood is freely flowing in my legs ....oooh what a relief the heaviness in my legs are gone and the pain in my ankles thanks again Blondey. From now on I'm gonna do this often while mingling
