On oblivions shore...

I walk upon oblivions shore,
In search for a shadow of me,
For the man that I was once before,
With his spirit unshackled and free.
But darkness surrounds me everywhere,
In this void, this black abyss,
I stumble forward feeling the air,
And I hear the demons hiss.
He's just out if reach & taunting me,
With visions of self doubt,
I'm stuck inside this terrible dream,
And it seems there's no way out.
So I wade out in the waters
And surrender myself to the sea
Sunrise breaks ,night becomes day,
Letting go just set me free
