brandy12345>Dwight I have done my share of things I regret <<
Got some news for you brandy12345, everyone on this planet can say
the same thing. It's what you do after that counts. The past is gone,
the present is now, and the future you better be ready for.

>>25k new car or a 65k new car<<
Ah, and in here we have the "car game".

Buying cars is a skill few know the maneuvers on. There is no car over
35 thousand that is necessary.
After 35 thousand the practicality is gone and the rest is fluff. Even
tough I can easily afford it
I would never pay more than 29 thousand for a new car and even at that
they are not going
\to get my 29 thousand from me.
I will have the car in my driveway, the keys in my pocket, and I will
still retain my
29 thousand dollars in the bank.

One has to eject the need for *ownership* from their minds to achieve
this. It's done
by leasing and working the proper leasing deal.

Last new truck I picked up I paid $350.00 (three hundred fifty) and
drove it off the lot.
30 days later I paid another 350. I have the keys, it sits in my
driveway, I still retain
my 29 thousand dollars.

The problem with most people is they look for things like
"1 more year of mortgage payments and the house is mine!"
kind of akin to "He who dies with the most toys wins"
For me it's
"He who dies with the most toys and owes all the money for it wins"

brandy12345>>I am sure at 18 we had a different life than this young man
maybe harder maybe not.<<
Well without the facts you are only guessing at his upbringing.
Personally I
never assume, I always hunt the facts.

In this case all we have is his post to "rouse the homies" for a
high-five. There is
plenty enough info between the lines and on top of the lines to see the
story here.
For me anyway.

>>but what gets u to where u are going if its a 200 dollar car or one that is 50 does it really matter?<<
Depends on whether you value your own safety. A $200.00 buck car is not
going to protect you
in an accident. A brand new Ford Five Hundred will keep you alive in a
90 mile and hour head on crash.
I prefer to live, I can't trust the other drivers to keep me alive I
must assume that responsibility myself.

>>at just cause of his clothes or that u read someone by the way they dress<<
I am very good at assessing people. I've had to do it most of my life as
a landlord
and an employer. Your skills get honed over time if you ask the right
questions
and keep things simple.
It's very easy for me and I haven't been wrong in many years for
"pegging" people.
It's mandatory I do this to keep peace in my personal life and work
life.

Los Lobos tried to set up camp here about 4 years ago. Our fine RCMP
force booted them back to LA.
Gangs don't work here, all they do now is spray paint logos in the *down
trodden* areas.
They are so out of place here. We have a beautiful city with
a fine police force who does and excellent job of keeping
crime out of the city.

>>sure u are better than everyone else<<
Your words not mine. I would never bee so shallow as to say something
inane like that.

>>i have a corvette myself does that make me better than u<<
I never mentioned once anything *I* owned.

>>furthermore its all s*** just monetary things a car is a car a motorcycle is a motorcycle<<
It's not monetary it's transportation. Personal transportation saves
time. If you
don't want to be *monetary* wait at the bus stop or waste money daily on
a taxi.

Attacking me isn't going to strengthen your position. I don't attack
anyone
I just tell the truth and the truth is hard to digest for most people. I
have
no problems with reality and the truth. I seek the same thing Diogenes
sought.

I challenged the kid to earn the bike, it's very simple.

Life ticks by so fast we are just a wink in the universe.

There are so many joys in this life and so many wonderful experiences
all one has to do is stand up and grab them. The World is an oyster
and most of us love to slurp it.

"Oh woa is me" is the easiest tract to follow and it usually suits the
lazy.
Sleep till noon
surf the Web
ask friends and family for hand-outs
talk about all that is crummy with the World and how hard done by you
are
my dog does that ('cept for the Web surfin', her paws don't work the
keyboard well)

I bet he would just love this $17,277.00 US
http://www.harley-davidson.com/PR/MOT/2007/payment_estimator.asp?locale=en_US&bmLocale=en_US&dwp=&market=US&family=so&model=

One year of minimum wage pays for that bike. I challenge him to buy it
in
two years.

>>judging somebody for their appearance<<
Of course. Appearance is a very major part of a person.
Appearance is how you feel about yourself.

>>this person could be one of the most loving people i have met on here<<

Well I disagree. In his language he is "talkin' smak".

I dare him to be honest and try this.
Get cleaned up (no napkins or such)
bust out the want ads
select temporary manual labor (lots of those in every city)
work 7 days at hard labor
give his entire paycheck to a women's shelter

Has he got just 7 days of seriousness in him?

I don't need to "know him". You can gather a lot about someone
simply by their appearance and words.

He put himself out and it's very plain to see who he is.

Here it is tough and hard.

nsctilidie>>It's a brotherhood about loyalty, pride, respect, and honor.
Your very lost.

Get that napkin off your head and try and fill out some job
applications.
You want tough? Join what 89% of the World does...work and earn
respect instead of pretending you've earned it.

buttons>>he is 18 yrs old most intelligent 18 yr old i have ever seen
He has a napkin on his head and he can't see out one eye unless he lifts
his head way back.
You find that intelligent?
There are hundreds of thousands of 18 year olds in college and
university
and they qualify for intelligence because they have proved themselves
in their past schooling.

School isn't the end-all proof of intelligence but it is a base we all
need
because it's an education. The more educated you get the more you
experience
and understand. That's what an education is, an awareness.

This kid is far from reality awareness.

Fred Rogers never served in the military. That is an urban legend.

Also Bob Keeshan (Cpt. Kangaroo) never served either. That is an urban
legend.

Lee Marvin did serve in the Pacific theater and was decorated.

I think depression is highly over rated.

I go by the rule:

You can be depressed and pay your bills
or
you can *not* be depressed and pay your bills
either way, you still have to pay your bills.

Depression is not suppose to be a parking spot, it's suppose to
be a red light. You sit on it for a short time and then step on
the gas pedal.

Poppin' pills just turns one into Elvis and we all know what happened to
Elvis.

These men pillaged all their lives and never had to endure karma.

I've seen proof karma doesn't exist. Evil people find money.

Karma is a wish-belief some people need so they feel justice is always
at play against evil.

To fight evil you have to file a writ!
