St. Louis loves Albert Pujols. Any real baseball fan does. He is amazing at the plate. As I stated, I just hope he's clean. Maybe we should give-up on pro-sports & athletes altogether? There seems to be so few that have any integrity. |

things in NE Ohio are peachy. Just snow covered and peachy. Well, things in the central are anything but snow covered or peachy. |

Tarzan, how many times do I have to tell you that you CAN'T COOK PEOPLE! Welllll ... it is an island tradition ... sort of. We are having a hard time explaining the diappearance of your "dinner guests". No. You have been "enjoying' our dinner guests! Our motto is "To Serve Man". Metal, now you're quoting a "Twilight Zone" episode. BTW, why wouldn't they be serving women, as deli fears? Don't know about you, but I find them rather "tasty" myself. |

I'll bring the alka -seltzer! Holly!!!!!!!!! Us real chili conisumers (combined connoisseur & consumer) don't need no stinkin' alka-seltzer, lol. |

Baseball is my game & it just pains me every time I hear of another user. We all knew that when Mac testified before congress that he was hiding the truth. Look at his & Bond's rookie card pictures. They were sticks, then they became these behemoths. I agree with what 1 poster said, all "outed" users "records" should be expunged. And as another said, Hank is the man. A much better role model than the Babe would ever be. As for Jr. I wish him the best, but it's unlikely that he would break Hank's record. The best chance would be Albert P., but who knows if he's clean?

This Ohio guy misses the great southwest cooking. Many moons ago I spent the summer in west Tejas, working in the oil fields. I was in heaven food-wise. So, Metal has the chili & Holly has the pig-tails... who has the tequila shooters again? What about music? Can't have a real par-tay without music. Polynesian or Reggae? I'm gonna go with Reggae...it always feels like a summer-time party with Reggae! Yeah mahn, Reggae it tis. BTW galend, aren't you the one who's supposed to be bringing the tequila shooters? Lime jello of course, right? |

Is this a rhetorical question or an oxymoron proposition?

Well thought out. I couldn't agree more. The cynical minded would never arrive as those conclusions. The real test of faith is when facing your own or a loved one's suffering &/or demise, can you still praise God? Paul certainly did & admonished fellow believers to do the same.

The reason the Ohio threads die.. is because of things like this. How have you been? How are things in NE O-H-I-O? |

Hello!? Is anybody out there? Care to chat, rat, spat, splat or whatever? Any kind of dialog would by better than none. Serve, your turn.

Please do plan one. I find that most of the Ohio threads die an early death, due to a lack of contributions. Not as much activity on a state level as there is nation wide.
As for the Lansing invite, not the closest place to meet. 3+ hours driving from Cleveland & I'm in C-bus. OK, only 4 hours from C-bus says MS streets & trips. tf73 |

Should one think it odd if their profile was viewed and then see that person who viewed the profile be deactivated less then 15 minutes later? It's definitely them, not you. Or coincidence. tf73 |

Yes, we should celebrate our Lord's birth and everyday is a good time to do it, yet, having a specific time of year to set a side and do so is awesome!!! Any one can be born.. It is the person and what they have done in thier life that should be remembered. No where does it say to celebrate a b-day.. John The Baptist had his head cut off for a B-day present. Yahshua tells us to remember his death and what he did for us. No b-days of believers can be found....Shalom....Miles Miles: Remember, if He's not born to die, then what? His birth IS important, not as important as His death, by still important nonetheless. tf73 |

Dear Tribefan, Thanks for your responses. I believe you were right on in both of your points.........especially the last one. First time I have been on here (this forum).....wondering if I really want to return. Ain't that the truth. I mean seriously, yeah, I know her picture is not the most demure, but she may be new to the Christian experience & she didn't have another picture. Who knows? The bottom line is the initial responders would turn most off. We're supposed to be honey, not vinegar. tf73 |

It is the basic tenet of Xianity and the answer to "Who killed Jesus?" Why you did of course, if no one else very lived except you, he would have to die for your sins. Hey, no one is blaming the Hebrews here. Jesus himself said that no one can take his live, save that He lay his life down for us. Peter during his famous Pentecost sermon pointed his finger at his fellow Hebrews as instigators, but he himself was guilty of denying his Lord 3 times. So it's not a matter of who to blame but what do you believe & in whom? tf73 PS- not to be a killjoy but I shake my head as to why someone starts a post like this in this forum. What's the point? Aren't we preaching to the choir here? How are we reaching the "lost" this way? |
