surprised I know the feeling. At 7AM I'll have been up for 24 hours. And I don't get to sleep till 9AM at the earliest. sad

Sad thing is I just got up a couple hours ago... but I can't turn on the coffee pot for another hour otherwise it would torment my roommate because I can make some good cupa-joe. <---Arkansas phrase.

So, I'm confused.

Are you wanting a girl or a woman? You're letter flips back and forth between the two.

Hmm... you have a point. Definitely a woman... I'm done with girls. Sorry about flipping the terminology it is kinda 4:30AM LOL.

Call me crazy if ya wish to... but I have the damnedest time finding a woman who is capable of standing on her own two feet while holding a brain on her shoulders and being strong enough to be approachable. Is this ideal just a pipe dream?

I am currently a college student and an extremely active student and meanwhile I have been sifting through a lot of the women who I found an interest in and really been kinda depressed with the results. 75% of all the women I meet that are to my taste are taken... 15% are not what they seem... 10% are suddenly nuns in person. Now don't get me wrong on the "nuns" statement... I don't mean I'm looking for the girl who throws it off in a heartbeat because I'm not... honestly if a girl is willing to do that quickly... that worries me more than her being a pain to chase. My main issue with women in the area I meet is that they are all very... umm... quiet in person. Meaning that they seemed like they coulda been fun to be with either online or when I met them through their friends in person... however when we go out they're very different.

I have even met a couple women here on this site and the results... yeah well it says I wasn't active for about eight months for a reason. I met one girl who seemed like she was a fun loving girl who seemed cool... however in person my IQ dropped by the second because of her. I unfortunately made the mistake of letting her meet some friends of mine... and haven't heard the end of it since. Now the question here is was meeting her a mistake on my behalf and being open enough to meet her with friends? Or was it on her end for being two faced in person? The other woman I met was a beautiful girl who seemed like she loved to go to movies and concerts... so I lined up a movie for us and had her go with me to a premier that a friend of mine won tickets to and didn't have the time to go to. I ended up finding out she was a pastor's daughter and still attached by the hip to her mother at the age of 28.

Most of the turn offs I have heard from women are usually arranged around me not having a car, or having a job. The part that bugs me is I do have income... I do have friends who can take me places... and I am so active in school that sometimes I only have time to come home and sleep from helping out/studying all day and evening (this is usually rare).

What I truly miss though is having a girl who is not only good in bed but good in life... good to talk to... good to hang out with... good to be with in general. I am an intelligent man and I do value a woman's intellect. I also miss having the girl who leaves her bags and issues at the door... I know in relationships you sometimes due have to share the load... but it should be the load of your relationship... not one another. I keep my life to myself and the stress from it to myself as best I can and need someone who can do the same. Also what happened to the "I'm off" woman? The woman who when the clock chimes that the work day is over (be it a student or working woman) that the work ends and out comes the loving woman who wants to spend the night relaxing?

My main concern with women since I moved to Dallas is when I am open enough to admit I could see myself with them (I only say this to women I KNOW) they just seem to take it like a silly compliment and don't grasp the depth of the meaning. Some of the women I knew in person I have said that to and then they just seem not to change their interactions to me at all... sometime down the road I find out they hooked up with someone who treated/treats them badly... I can't really look past that being an insult.

I have met women with a back bone...
I have met women with a brain...
I have met women who stand on their own feet...
I have met women who are fun to be with...
I have met women who could stir my blood...
I have yet to meet any woman who is all of the above...

Hmm... black with yellow spots sounds like a garden snake... especially at that size. As far as being nervous about scorpions... if it is almost as big as your hand you will be lucky to get anything more painful than a bee sting out of him stinging you. As far as for you Equu I would suggest studying that local snakes there are in your area and possibly talking to a doctor about getting shots of their venom every year to build an immunity to them so you wouldn't have to be bothered by them at all. I remember back when I was about 16 I was holding a couple of small golden brown snakes and figured they were just normal Arkansas grass snakes... got home with them and put them in one of my aquariums with a couple of crickets and grasshoppers to munch on and... found out I was carrying a couple of Copperheads. Luckily I was never bit by them but I was bit by a few snakes in California... one of them had the doctor baffled at the description... he had never heard of a three and a half foot long corn snake like the one that bit me. It was such a gorgeous snake though... black and white stripes across it... kinda reminded me of those snakes from Beatlejuice. Ever since I began catching snakes though I began to document the ones I found... where I found them... and were they in a group... and when I did the doctors I spoke with a lot used to call me from time to time asking which ones I had seen in order to build up their supply of anti-venom and anti-toxin medications. Never had a problem with being bit though until I was about 21 and I got bit by a Texas Diamondback... the best description I can give is it felt like someone was pouring acid into my leg... got bit while I was helping a family pack their things up to head home after the Katrina hurricane. I got to the hospital and all hell was breaking loose... but by the next day I was fine. Since then I have told people it is EXTREMELY wise to build an immunity to anything in your area that could harm you.

You also mentioned ferrets... I am happy to say I have a couple of very kind ferrets that do not have a mean hair on their body and are spoiled rotten by me. Both are females one if a peppery black and brown and her name is Trouble... my other one is a champagne blond named Mischief.

I agree though that the pay is actually not that impressive... However it does have it's own personal rewards to be able to work with some of the rarest and most beautiful animals/fish/birds in the world.

I personally am hell bent on training to become either a Zoologist, Marine Biologist, or Living Biologist… one of the things that seems to disturb a lot of the women I have met is my desire to be hands on… One of my friends out here jumped almost four feet back away from a toad as I was walking her to her car… when I examined what she claimed to be a toad I lifted it up to show it to her and it was a tiny turtle about the size of a silver dollar. She said me picking it up was extremely gross and she couldn’t imagine picking up such a disgusting creature… what she doesn’t know is that I have held and worked with creatures she wouldn’t imagine being near including highly poisonous snakes and toxic frogs. I have told her many times that she really needs to bare witness to the magnificent beauty of these creatures up close and first hand but I have yet to even convince her to fathom such an idea. Also one of the other things is I have two pet ferrets… both female but one is a dark chocolate and the other is a champagne color… they are my favorite creatures in existence as far as household pets because of how hysterical their antics are when they really get going and let loose. I named them well however because of their antics… the darker one is Trouble she is also my oldest (about a year and a half old)… and my younger one is Mischief (About to be a year old). The problem I am having is she refuses to touch them… now I personally have raised these little ferrets since they were just old enough to be adopted and I know for a fact they don’t have a mean hair on their body and they have the personality of a attention starved child… when someone new is in the house they want to be held, adored, and played with by them. The wonderful things about the ferrets is that they always act like everything is a new toy even if they played with it five minuets ago. The worst thing I could imagine my ferrets doing is stealing someone’s shoe and hiding it under something. I am wondering however if this is a shared trait with women about not liking their men to be hands on even with creatures they themselves fear? Or is it just squeamishness to be around something new or something they have little experience with? I personally am fascinated with wildlife in all forms but when I see a new creature I can’t help but want to really get up close and personal with it and study every aspect of the creature… though I have to admit one of my favorite creatures are oceanic due to how wide the variety of different structures and different species… the wondrous thing about them all is how each and every one of them have a roll to play on this planet like a massive “Super-Organism” (Super-Organism is like a hive of bees… though they are all different creatures… they all work together seemingly as if they were one and the same… just like the organisms throughout our body.)

Hey yall, I have a bit of trouble finding friends in Dallas due to one very vital thing... I can't drive... so I made the post to see if there is anyone in the area who wouldn't mind adding a giant to their group of friends so that I can actually have a reason to leave the house LOL. I enjoy all forms of entertainment though I despise Rap and some forms of country (hick music) which... little to say in Dallas keeps me kind of... isolated LOL. I am a very easy going friend who enjoys doing almost anything... I would say I would like to meet folks to go to the movies and go to concerts with but... sadly there has been a disgusting lack of good movies worth getting together for *disappointed face* and concerts though outrageously fun... are mostly boring compared to if you had folks to jam with. I personally don't drink unless per say it is a good friend's birthday... however I have no problems with hanging out with folks who do... most of my friends where I come from either work in a bar, own one, or are a regular in one. Though if you like getting out and having fun and don't mind adding a new friend to the festivities shoot me a message or a reply!

Well if yall don't mind having a giant in your group I would love to meet yall. As for the feedback you requested... Taste of Addison is a great place but rather large... granted that wouldn't effect yall finding me... I'm usually a head taller than most folks... but as for the rest of yall...
