Men still tend to shy away from flowers for some reason.
Not all men. Some men are locked into a stereotypical impression of what it means to be a man. So concerned about appearing manly they fail to express themselves honestly. Men don't cry Men don't like flowers Men don't show emotion Men don't discuss relationship issues Men fight Men play hard, work hard Men are rugged Men are strong, physically and emotionally Men like physical sports If your man has an aversion to flowers he probably has an aversion to other things as well. He likely gets all huffy-puffy when you argue, loud and boisterous. He expresses tenderness after some strong physical exertion or must offset that tenderness with something physical. Sports like football, hockey and boxing are staples for his entertainment. He thrives on action movies and loves the he-man gruff action stars. He needs boys night out. A man that is prone to give flowers is in touch with their own emotions. They accept tenderness as part of life. They will readily discuss relationship issues, have no problem being in the company of women and enjoy romantic movies. Chances are you have seen them cry over something that has deep emotional meaning. They are less concerned with the personification of a man than just being themselves. They have a strong, loving identity that they can express with ease. They still have the stereotypical impression of manliness but are not as concerned about exaggerating it because they are comfortable being themselves. They give flowers because they want to, not because they feel they have to. Many of them like flowers for the same reasons you do. If you want to find out what kind of man you are dealing with...Get them flowers and see how they react and what they do with them. I must admit, the first time a woman got me flowers I was taken aback. I felt embarrassed. Thing is, I liked how they looked and enjoyed the fresh aroma. It was a side of me I had never considered before. Tom, its the ladies that always taught we the guys never to be sissies... Lol. . They tend to love the Man who is truely Man---who can defend them,be daring in the face of dangers, give wipe her tears,tough and not one who cries etc....thats the general impression from the ladies. |

We use the word LOVE very commonly in our world today,but it does seem we don't really understand the depth of meaning it conveys. We don't understand the everlasting demand it places on us when you tell that Man or woman that you love her.
I am learning by experience that what most people judge to be love are merely fleeting infatuation from emotions. Love goes way beyond emotions. Its spiritual. If you like from the human spirit or innermost being or core---way down from within. Hence,its not easily quenched by external influences. Its sacrificial. Emotions are easily influenced by happenstances. No wonder whole thing ends rather sooner than it began. Most people cannot love. What a beautiful place our world would have been only if we can love. We need divine strength from the God of love to live a sacrificial life which love demands. Selfishness is the biggest threat to love. Love is forgiving. It will never take advantage of another. |

I think that older women can understand men better and they're more serious about creating a strong relationship Yes.. true.. but then they die before you do, ( cause they are older) so its ruined. That's why its better to play with people your own age. 
We may be more understanding.... yet our bullshyte meter is calibrated to detect the slightest whiff... Well Calibrated whiff detecting meter??

Yup..!!.God exist.!!!..he is hugging me from the inside out right now...the dends...I compare my life to the book of Job almost detail...and my goodness..I have been so disappointed and angry with God in so many times of my life...the other day my life took a horrible turn for the worst...so much so that I will spare you the story at this time...God is my only saving grace at this point...and because I believe this completely...I feel amazingly calm...and as I stare the devil in the eye I don't fear the beast...my God is going to kick some demon behind.!!!..sooo..any of you that feel God in your soul..?...Please pray for me and my entire family..!!..God loves it when we help each other and if distance prevents physical help...prayers are the next best thing...thanks and may God love and protect us all in this wicked world..!! GOD IS AND FOREVER WILL BE.!!AMEN!...  ....
...well my life still bites..but dang..I have felt really good...cry here and there and worry myself sick...but I have been having fun thinking about some great times in my past...and the ability to have pictures,..smells ,...and just beIng blessed with memories..yup ..only an amazing entity could pull that off..and if you say it enough it's a cool sounding name...so God does truly exist...and he's awesome..!..now if only my life would quit letting me down..grrrr..  ..

One thing we should never loose sight of --is Gods love for us as expressed through Jesus Christ's death on the cross for the sins and woes of humanity not withstanding one's present situation---you in this case. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth on him should not perish but have everlasting life... God loves you, Ma. However, you need to discover this through tireless study of the bible....for in it are so many promises for you to claim. Gods words as stated in the bible are not works of fiction,but true. Jesus Christ is the word personified.. John 1v 1(KJV) "In the beginning was the Word,the Word was with God and the Word was God" So, as you discover the word,war with Him. Pray in the name of Jesus Christ quoting the promises you have discovered. Pray against all issues of concern in your life . Expect instant turnarounds. Please note that demons are directly or indirectly behind most troubles in one's life---depression,doubt,unbelief, poverty ,fear,sicknesses....etc Jesus Christ cancels out the works of the devil (Acts 10:38) Pray against them in the name of Jesus Christ. Philippians 2:9-10 "Wherefore God hath highly exalted him and given him a name above every other name. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven,and things in earth,and things under the earth.... Finally, never stop giving God thanks and praising him. Philippians 4:6 "Be careful(don't worry) for nothing: but in everything, by prayers supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God...... Please note the clause: "with Thanksgiving" is in present continuous tense. Do it always. Thank him for his love for you. Praise him always for his ability to bring you out of every issue of concern in your life. About "Free Me, Master!", my upcoming book. Been working real hard for over a month to get the first editing done, could finally sent it in last Friday. Today I spent a lot of time pimping my author website, FB, and Instagram. And I found out I already have my own author page on the publisher's site! Yay! It's all still a bit unreal, can tell you that! Can't wait to have a copy of my first novel. I'll have to be patient, won't be until July/August. Fingers crossed I won't have to do as much editing as the first time round anymore. Murder on my fingers! Awesome crystalfairy!! Congratulations. I can draw inspiration from your success and pick up my pen again.I had'nt written anything since late 2015 My works failed to win in the Short story and flash fiction competitions in UK,Republic of Ireland and Nigeria. Your great articulation overtime on the forum lends credence to your testimony.

Hi Everyone, I joined 3 months ago so technically I am not a newbie. But I am introducing myself anyways because I am fairly new to the forums. I think the male is usually the giver and the woman is the taker-though I would rather use the word receiver.
Interestingly, she multiplies or improves upon everything given to her and returns it. For example, shower her with words of affection, she returns affection,make her your Queen and she crowns you her King, give her money and she gives you a meal,send her sperms and she returns babies to you and a house and she makes it a home. Well,give her hell and she gives you the fire....
