Trump and Hillary make politics seem like a theatrical pantomime. Mutual respect is lacking, and getting respect for most people is a struggle. Hillary doesn,t connect to the deep unease in society. Trump blusters, and comes from a background where women and people who are different to him, are used. Yet he does recognise that people are frustrated with a type of politics that does nothing for them. But his solution, to reduce taxes for the rich, does not automatically make a good life for the poor, it only worsens the divisions in society. He can,t see that. So a deeply worrying time.

Finding love over 50 is more than possible. Psychologically and emotionally it can be fairly stable, depending on realistic expectations and an awareness of the human condition. Love is possible at any age.
