Hey I'm up thumper......you have a wonderful Turkey Day yourself. I have to go into work later and serve the thanksgiving meal to the residents at the nursing home.....and then cook their supper tonight. But we get to eat our dinner "free" today. Plus get paid "holiday" pay so it's not a total loss.

OMG my first time reading this........HYSTERICAL is all I can say.
Brings to mind though of a woman I knew back in SA Texas (while stationed there) our husbands had been gone on a lenghly TDY overseas...but when she went to greet her husband at the airport she forgot her Ben Wah balls were still intact in the netherlands....so she set off the security alarm.

I have this freind who is a police officer. He tells me stories about things that happen all the time and I still am amazed at what gets into peoples head sometimes. he related to me the following story.... "I was at a stop light waiting for the light to change when I noticed a toyota celica swerve sharply, jump the curb and smash into a tree. I immediately hit the lights and siren and rushed to give the person aid. I approched the car and did not immediately see a person in it. I opened the door and was suprised to find a woman with her pants down to her knees and blood everywhere. I asked if she were injured and she , still in a bit of shock, replied she thought she was ok. I made mention of the blood and she groaned. I thought she was in pain but as I slipped my jacket off to cover the woman, she admitted to me that she was on her period and had been trying to change her tampon while she was driving. It was all I could do to keep a straight face as other emergency vehicles arrived and this woman had to put up with the embarassment of having to explain what had happened. My LT and I discussed if we should write a ticket or charge her with anything, both agreeing that it was best not to, I think she learned a valueable lesson." OMFG is this a normal thing for you ladies LOL OMG what woman in her right mind would change her tampon while driving a car?????? |

We went out to dinner. Went for a ride on motorcycle. Then sat on my deck drinking a glass of wine. She decided to go to the bathroom. Walked off the end of my deck taking all 3 steps in one leap doing an ass over tea kettle crash breaking her foot in 3 places and spending 3 days in intensive care. I thought it was a good date. OMG, I hope the wine had nothing to do with it? If it did, hope it killed some of the pain. The poor thing. |

yep, I'm travelling about 5 miles down the road to go to work on Thanksgiving. ARGH!!!! Not happy about it, but the pay will be nice come paycheck time.
