My "forgiveness meter" is on life support systems and Chad Everett of "Medical Center" has just sent for a priest.

I'm fortunate to be able to forgive very easily because I'm able
to put myself in the position of others and to see all
perspectives of a situation. I believe everyone deserves a
second chance. That does not mean it doesn't hurt.
Where are you on the forgiveness meter? Are you able to forgive
and let go or do you want revenge, wish bad upon one who you feel
has screwed your over...hold a grudge?

I don't give second chances, but I do forgive.

Ok, here's one for ya. If we aren't supposed to judge people, only their acts, when someone acts in a way that is hard to take...you are forgiving of the act, since it doesn't compromise the whole body..yes?.
One day, the realization came to forgive my parents, they didn't know any better even as adults. There are some that I can get easily upset at then have to sit down and realize they are mere knuckleheads to begin with, so what else would they produce but knucklehead results and actions.
Forgiveness is the greatest gift you can give another, and especially to oneself.
I don't think there is anyone here that hasn't done a thing that didn't need forgiving, even of themselves...they may be the only one who knows of it.
