Greetings Everyone, I drive cross country. I also have a dog that likes other dogs, poeple, and hates cats and I don't like them either. I am opionated and independent, I like spending time with freinds, family, and you, however don't like being "smothered" or doing the "somerthering". Although I am very affectionate and like a lot of hugging and snugling. My job keeps me away for weeks at a time, (I am trying to change that, and be home more often...please bear with me on that one) but I try to make up for lost time when I'm around, and I also will keep in touch over the phone while I am gone. I can't spell very well, but I'm not stupid. I am slightly "technically challenged" when it comes to computers and software. I have my own place wich I am renovating as time, and money allows, believe me I am not rich, but money is NOT everything. I live in a wonderful small town with really good poeple. I have lived in New York City, and Chicago, as well as other places around the country, and this place is the best home for me, so far. I say so far, as I may be open to moving again if its needed, but WE will have to have a long discussion about it, I'm just saying that I am open to that possibilty, although I hope to share what I have with you... I'm self employed so income depends on me and the economy, but I have kept myself going over 10 years. I am not looking for a free ride or anyone who is, not saying I wont help out but I don't want to be used, I have been down that road before. I know jobs and the economy are on everyone's mind right now, if you find yourself unemployed I understand and will not let that get in the way of a good relationship, I think tough times bring out the best in most poeple and think that anytime is a good time to start a relationship, even now. Seriously though, if your in a rut, and looking for a job, I wont turn you down, and will do what I can to help you with it. I know times are tough, and were all doing what we need to do to get by. I will tell you that where I live the cost of living is low, and the economy is steady, not booming, but at least steady, and there are oppertunities in the area. I also don't "look down" at other poeple's occupations, I love you, not your job. I also think that marriage is not the answer to everything, I am open to it, if your the right person, but I don't feel that it is needed to have a good life. (once you get to know me better, you'll understand what I mean by that) If we LOVE each other and work at it we will have a great and long life together, reguardless of what some peice of paper, or the state says. I am not very patient with children, that dosen't mean I don't like them, just not wanting to be a parent. I have an overactive sense of homor, and have been known to crack jokes at funerals, and everywhere else, I have been known to pull a few practical jokes as well. Poeple who know me say that I'm like a living sitcom. I like Mel Brooks and Zuker & Zuker movies that star Leslie Nielson, my favorite being "Airplane." I am also a Monty Python fan, and love British humor. My favorite comedian is John Pinnette and the Blue Collar guys. I am heavy and have been that way since I was young and that probably won't change, I am not saying that I am discustingly fat, just "pleasantly plump", I have had to quit drinking, and cut down on sugar, (doctor's orders) I have lost a few pounds, not that its all that noticeable, but I feel so much better. I have also been in a few accidents and plane crashes, sometimes the mind is willing and the body just isn't able sometimes, so I ask for patience in that area. I am sexually fuinctional, so Viagra is not required... I like to cuddle and keep you warm on the cold NE winter nights. I'm trying to be a little more romantic, maybe you can help me with that, if that's important to you. I do like to travel, cruises are the best, hope you don't get seasick, and I have family in many parts of the country, and try to visit them when I can. I have been from the Panama C to the Artic Circle. After I finish my house projects, and pay some things off, I want to take up some hobbies and get an RV, and take a road trip to Alaska. I also want another boat, I had to sell my old one, and get back to fishing again. As far as hobbies go, I have a 1906 Fairbanks Engine, its pictured here, I am in the process of restoring it. I hope to have it up and running soon so I can take it to the shows and meets next summer, I also am working on a 1953 Model 50 John Deere, and a few other projects. It seems that one project breeds another...LOL!!!! Anyway, if your into this stuff, and have any advice or parts, I would be happy to hear from you. I am the world's worst golfer but I really enjoy it! WORK is not a LIFE, and I have been doing that for some time and I am changing some of that, as well as making some other improvements to my life wich YOU will be part of. I also have an entertaining, and inspiriing story about how I got a new "brother" from having a hole in the roof, and things like that are generally how my life happens. He has made me an uncle, I love the nephews, and the fun I have with them. I hope this didn't bore you to death or take up so much space that someone else got knocked off the website. LOL! I am tired of being lonely and I am trying to do things better in my life to change that. I am open to any possibilities that may help me in this area. I am TOTALLY OUT with EVERYONE. Getting OUT has been the most stressfull, and scary thing I have done in a while, but at the same time its the most liberating experience I have felt in a long time, like a huge wieght has been lifted from my shoulders. Thank You for taking time to consider me in your life. Even if you don't pick me I wish you the best in finding your special someone, I know its not easy.
