No 'crazies', please. Been there; done that. I’ve got too much life in front of me to waste time. Being funny and serious here! I’m going to take a page from a friends play book. So, please read my entire profile before you respond. I am looking for a friend that can (potentially) lead into an LTR or marriage. I’m 2+ years off a 10 year marriage. I would like this friend to move a little slower that most men would. Maybe start off with some e-mail, phone chat, and a dinner or two. (I’m a 'retired' chef and could blow your mind with cooking someday!) We’ll see what develops. If the attraction and chemistry is there, then maybe we’ll move forward. I'm as comfortable and honest with regard to my negatives as I am my positives. You should be able to do so as well. Not here for BS, and I see a lot of it. For my positives… I am dedicated to my family and children. And if you are able to capture my heart, you will never have to wonder where I am or what I am doing 24/7/365. It may seem 'old fashioned', but that is my way. I know if I always do the right thing, I’ll never have anything to answer for, when the time comes. For my faults… I smoke; I drink, and can swear like a sailor, when properly motivated. But that by no means should lead you to believe that I am irrational and incapable of working through whatever is necessary. I most certainly am. I always prefer my mate and I to be back to back. Not toe to toe. (Except affectionately!) But I am stubborn, steadfast in my convictions, and (as a result) can be difficult to deal with at times. Yes, (Contrary to popular belief!) I am a 'nice guy'. I am respectful, well mannered, courteous, and chivalrous towards women. It's how I was taught. And while I'm no 'wuss' my 'dangerous, bad boy' days are behind me. Not interested in someone who wants one of those. I've grown up since then. If you haven't; I can't help you. But, can you be the danger in my life? We’ll see. I have a 16 year old daughter with me (part time) and moved my 67 year old mother in with me (full time) a year ago due to her being in bad health. If you can't understand that; I probably won't understand you. Please move on & thank you. What I do need is a strong, well grounded & committed woman. One that can be a “B-itch” when she needs to, in order to keep me focused and grounded. She must also be able to be an “Angel” when she needs to so we can stay focused and grounded. I remember a Priest once telling me that the woman should always be the heart of the house. And, that I should be submissive to her. Yeah, it’s a Catholic thing; but I’ve also been told in some ways, I’m a lousy Catholic. Too intellectual and open minded. Anyway, I’ve babbled long enough.
