UPDATED 5 JULY 2015 Yes indeed! Fun truly is one of my favorite things. I love this blue-green garden planet. What a wonderful place to live! 68 year old found objects assemblage artist with lively sense of humor lives at the beach in South West Washington state, near the mouth of the Columbia River, mighty River of The West. My old Maine Coon cat, Phoebe has died. It is so quiet now. Time to update! I am now clean shaven with hair past my shoulders. What I call 5 ties long. I think I am hoping to meet a hippie girl who has gotten to be around 64 to 69 years old and is happy, independent, politically liberal, and doesn't mind if I smoke a little pot for the CBD helps manage my aches and pains from an old shipyard accident.(it is quite legal here in Washington state, you know.). My home, while quite lovely, is somewhat messy, as I am a "found objects assemblage artist" and keep finding objects. I AM LIVIN' THE LIFE! I quit drinking a long time ago. Recently I discovered that I CAN have one glass of wine with no need to finish off the bottle. Ah the clarity of age, eh? I like to travel, and am working on an old classic truck camper, and / or a small trailer. I'd rather have a sweet little self contained traile, but lack the money to purchace. There's a road around the Western National Parks that I'd like to explore. C'mon along! Life is an adventure. We will all be dead and dead is for a long time. Occasionaly I enjoy going out to a nice local restaurant (the kitchen is not my best room, LOL). I enjoy going out on the beach now and then looking for driftwood or whatever I might find, it's only about 5 blocks or so - less than 10 minutes on my bike. My West and South facing very private back porch (I like the term "verandah") is 10' by 38' with a 12' clear acrylic roof making it very nice to relax in the hot tub nearly every evening. Often the evening sky lights up like a Maxfield Parrish painting. Lovely. I can hear the surf, but can not see it from here. I wanted to build a tower, but it kept slipping off the priority list. I'd like to meet a bright, intelligent, pleasant looking single woman between the ages of 66 and 71, or so. Seems like if we are close in age, we could, indeed, have some things in common though we are strangers this exact minute. Your own car would be handy. If you have a lot of "issues", please, no. I want to find someone to go FORWARD with. Ocean Park is kind of a long ways from anywhere...but worth the trip. I believe in living within my means. Over the last 25 years or so, those dollar bills have become smaller while remaining nearly the same in number. I am horrible with numbers (balancing my checkbook), but seem to manage to squeak by every month with a smile on my face. Once in a while I will get a killer deal on an old truck or something that I can fix up and re-sell. I have just moved a small vintage Airstream in as a commission restoration project. UPDATE - The Airstream sold and I spent all the money! I am politically liberal and think Rachel Maddow is a hero. My spirituality has no book or building, though there are some that are quite inspiring.... Thanks for looking. Who knows, I just might be worth a bit of effort. All that said, let's throw our clothes in a pile and have some dun!
