Lonely single parent of 3 boys - twins aged 6 and eldest aged 10 ( yes I have my hands full, such a common statement from strangers). As sad as this sounds, and believe me I hate to admit it, but I haven't had an "intimate relationship" since my wife's ping in 2011. I'm an ex RN Police Officer with 22 years service and 6 decorations for "conduct before the enemy" in various theatres of conflict ( yes, us sailors do go on land and fight, more often than the media let you know) therefore reliable and discreet but just need that extra something. I love my children and would do anything for them but I can' t bring myself to think about bringing a new " mom" into their lives, at the same time I miss the the intimateness of being with someone. I know it sounds awful but I just want someone I can share those intimate moments with. I have just re-read this and seen how desperate it sounds, but I ure you I am not as pathetic as it sounds.
