I'm a great listener and interested in that unique person that I know is out there. I'm interested in your ideas, interests, pursuits, history; I have a few of my own to share! No one is perfect, but I can tell you that I am down-to-earth, successful, a devoted mom to 2 young-adult children, both away at college. I am opinionated and sometimes head-strong, but I am caring, fair, and honest. I am a good friend, and hope that friendship will be one of the things we share. I hope to have that friendship turn into something more meaningful. Ultimately, I am looking for a long-term monogomous relationship. I exercise 4-5 days a week, try to eat as healthy as possible, but occasionally sucb to a burger and fries. I don't smoke and I drink socially. I am upbeat about 90% of the time, am realistic about life, and I am appreciative of what life has given to me. What do I like to do for fun? I like short weekend getaways. I like to watch sports on my 70" HDTV with a gl of pinot noir. I like to entertain friends and family. I like to cook, in fact it is one of my pions, and Italian is my speciality. I like to spend time with my adult children doing whatever it is we agree to do. I like the movies, concerts, live theater. I like to read, mostly in the evenings after a long day at work. I also like to experience different foods, activities, and make new friends. What kind of man am I looking for? I am looking for a man who is down-to-earth, has a good amount of intelligence and common sense, is funny, articulate, takes life in stride, understands that we go around only once and we had better make the most of it, is fun-loving, and kind. I'm looking for a companion/lover who will travel with me on short weekends and long vacations, who I can count on to be there for me. I want to surround myself with someone who is upbeat, positive, friendly - a decent kind of guy! I welcome men who are actively involved in their children's lives - I think that is a very necessary part of parenting. I am close to my children, and will continue to be so.
