Hi. My name is Pam. I'm 49 years old and divorced for six years. I don't have any children, but I do think about foster care and/or adoption as a possibility. I'm originally from the Chicagoland area and moved to northwest Wisconsin two and a half years ago. I now consider Wisconsin my home. For the current school year, I am working as a school counselor in an Alaska bush village called Tuluksak, about 40 miles from Bethel. You'll have to look it up on a map to see where it is. Anyway, the only thing I know for sure about my life is that it will be spent here until mid-May, and then I may be spending the summer in the Palmer area, but I'm not sure yet! Beyond that, I haven't made any decisions. I am enjoying my life here, however. But, time will tell, so I shall see what comes to p. I'm in the middle of a life changing and challenging experience and would love to meet some people who would enjoy some good communication and conversation. And who knows where that would lead? I enjoy writing back and forth, and I think it's a good way to get to know about one another. I also enjoy phone contact, once we get to know each other. I am a friendly, kind and honest person. I love to talk about a variety of things, and I'm not usually a quiet person. I also like to laugh - a lot - and people know it when I laugh! I am also a very positive person, and I'm full of energy. I've worked with children and families for most of my life, and I have always loved my work - I genuinely like working with people, and I tend to connect with people well.
