I am a kind, patient, and loyal man who is looking for a partner to share stories, watch movies, and laugh at each other when we're being dumb. I come across as a serious person, but at heart I am a goofball. I have been known to crack a book, fly a kite, and talk in a silly voice to dogs. I've raised children, traveled to other countries, made and lost friends. I am generally introverted and prefer a quiet evening in, although I do enjoy a nice dinner out. My second favorite thing about traveling is tasting the amazing foods of the world, and my most favorite is returning home. I have an anthropological interest in Internet culture, although I seldom participate in it. I make a pretty tasty pot of chili and I'm an above-average whistler. I sometimes feel like the only sane person in a world gone mad, and other times I wonder if I'm the one who's lost his mind.
