I love the outdoors, almost infinite possibility here in Alaska…hiking, skiing, flying, boating, kayaking, canoeing…but I also like just hanging out: watching a movie at home, conversing, reading or doing nothing at all. I am a curious and a fairly adventurous guy. Alaska, of course, is fantastic, but I like to go outside too...just too many different people, cultures, colors and flavors to resist. I love learning something new. I frequent the culture Anchorage has to offer us: theater, movies, concerts, art exhibits, coffee joints, and occasional bar. I enjoy socializing but also value quiet time. I would love to meet an active, independent-minded woman--someone with a full life of her own. Ideally, I'd like our interests and activities to be mutually enriching...a relationship is only partly about getting what we want--mutual support, not demand, is what makes a relationship worth the effort. I am open for a casual or a more serious relationship. I am a pretty relaxed guy and past relationships tell me that I’m easy in relationship (do we all say this?). If a serious relationship isn’t in the cards, someone to play with is always welcome. I am always up for new experiences and value this characteristic in others. I’m a little goofy, perhaps, but have never been very concerned about what others think about me or what I do—I’m old enough to be secure about where I am and where I’ve been. On more practical ground, I am pretty liberal, but don't think different views are necessarily incompatible if our minds are open. I try to eat healthy, and a plus is someone interested in staying healthy, too. I feel I am honest and open
