I have learned through many long painful years that you can't force what you want to happen. Just as soon as I feel like I am ready for something to become more than a friendship for me, fate disagrees. So, here I am giving up on the battle and letting go. I have, through many experiences, found great friends and those friends I will carry with me through the rest of my life. I would not be who I am today without the love and uplifting encouragement of the friends I have now. As the year comes to an end and the holidays light up the night, be thankful for all you have and all you have come to know and enjoy.
