Hi...I am a guy with broad interests, yet a limited amount of time to explore them because I have a lot of unfinished projects which, when finished, will improve my quality of life. I appreciate the beauty in things around me and, as a result of having spent over half a century with the spectacular woman I met and married at 19, I appreciate the inner/outer beauty in the women I meet. So, if the Cyber world is your forte’, I'm not your guy. My STARTING POINT is this: I am looking for the up-close-and-personal interaction of a live, physical, face-to-face date! You know, where two people engage in an hour or two of meaningful conversation over drinks, or over dinner, or both - where the light of their personalities can illuminate the moment instead of being cloaked in the secrecy of electronic separation. Where we can look into each other’s eyes while asking probing questions, in order to reveal through answers and body language the truths or lies within the words being spoken. Where two people can explore each other's minds searching for that spiritual and/or physical attraction that can lead (or not) to them exploring each other’s bodies. These things and the insight they allow cannot be experienced through email or any kind of cyber-bonding. I guess I am old fashioned in that regard - a kind of throw-back to an earlier, more romantic and chivalrous time when "dating" wasn't impersonal. but rather an interested search with a purpose … that purpose being the determination of compatibility and shared interests. I am not looking for a miracle (most people call them coincidences), yet I know that the hand of God often works through people and that miracles can happen ... even for someone like me. My IDEAL partner? I am looking for a physically attractive, intelligent woman with good sense of humor and a quick wit. Someone who takes care of herself well and knows how to take care of me. A kindhearted woman with integrity, honesty, strength of character and inner peace denoting she is comfortable in her own skin, and who appreciates the same traits in others. A woman of faith who isn't afraid to say why she has that faith.
