I am what I am, and people who appreciate truthfulness love me for it. I’m far from perfect, but fairly educated, a realist with a touch of romantic. I’m a traveler, a writer, a man with the eye and heart for beautiful things (but not a snob). I'm at ease in a museum, hunting in Siberia, reading a good book (darn, there are so few), scuba diving, going to the opera (most anything but Wagner), snow-skying cooking on the grill or eating in a nice restaurant, listening to music (anything from classical to jazz, RR, RB, Italian canzonets, even French chansons, Argentinean tangos) but no rap or hip-hop.
I don't believe in compromises but I believe in working things out.
Now, let me say a few words about what attracts me to a woman. First I accept that there is no such thing as the perfect woman, but here is a list of traits and trades which I look for: intelligent and with a certain level of sophistication, capable of discernment, cosmopolitan, appreciative of the finer things in life, enjoys traveling, shares her thought femininity, not afraid to love and to show it…but most of all I want for that next someone in my life to be my best friend.
Am I asking too much?
