Hi, I'm Lisa. First, I am a single (divorced) mom of two boys, ages 8 and 14. As far as me...sunsets, sunrises, the beach, under the stars, the snow, the woods, and the middle of nowhere are my favorite times and places. I really appreciate the simple things that life has to offer. I love to laugh and I enjoy making others laugh as well. I also admire honesty, sincerety, a clever mind, determination, and drive. I try to focus on the good things in others. I am a giving person and in fact, would give the shirt off of my back to my friends if needed, but don't get me wrong...my children won't go without unless there was a valuable lesson involved. I am not looking for someone to immediately be involved with as I think that relationships need time to grow. Friendship is what it is all based on. . I think it is good for my boys to have positive male role models, but I would never ask someone to sign up for the job...just another reason I am interested in the potential of building a relationship upon a very strong friendship. I am working on changing my body type to a "few extra pounds." My health is very important to me. I am not satisfied with the way my body is and I am doing something about it. I accept who I am on the inside and outside, but I believe that everyone can always improve themselves in all aspects of life. It doesn't identify me as self-conscious or embarred, because I'm not. It's just a challenge I'm working on. :) Now, here's my heart to heart talk with you... I believe in friends first and that friendship should be meaningful. When I have feelings for someone, those feelings are genuine and precious to me because that person means so much. When I'm old and sitting in my rocking chair, I want my best friend to be sitting with me and when I speak to him or even look at him, he will still know how much he means to me. I want to have a life filled with good times, pion, and family get togethers. I desire to have my fair share of misunderstandings and disagreements, as well as apologies. Life is my adventure and my destiny is yet to be determined. I believe that God places people in my life and I believe He allows me to love and care as much as I can...enough so that it matters to them. But for now, I just want to be a friend.
