Since the question has been raised and there is no way to add a caption to my photos, the baby is my youngest grandchild. I am eclectic, some might call me a little eccentric. One day I may dress business casual, the next might find me in a 1950's dress and a Fedora. My interests are varied, from English History to Science Fiction, from Health and nutrition to gourmet cooking. I'm an avid reader, typically reading 3 or 4 books at any one time. I'm also very active, I enjoy running, hiking, and spend time in the gym when the weather turns foul. I enjoy doing the things that will help keep me as young as I'd like to be for the rest of my life. I try to surround myself with people who help me fulfill my dreams...other runners, those with positive atudes, people who can make the boring things in life a little more interesting, and I hope I provide the same benefits for them as well. I love to travel, I do at least 2 destination running races each year, but also enjoy exploring my own universe right here in the Pacific NW. My favorite places to travel to are warmer climates. Hawaii, California, and soon Arizona...but I don't mind the rain either. Probably a good thing since I live in the wet zone! The Oregon and Northern California coastline is one of my favorite places. I enjoy hiking in the mountains, but am not a skier. I'm hoping to make time to learn how to snowshoe this winter. I'm employed in the packaging industry. I enjoy my work and the people I work with. I am pionate about my career. I can become too wrapped up in my work, and forget to make time for the fun in life. I'm looking for someone who will help me rein myself back in when that happens. I try hard to not allow my job to define me....but for me to define who I am and who I want to be in my future. I'm looking to meet someone who values integrity and honesty as much as I do. Who is secure in his life, but not so staid that he doesn't enjoy impromptu adventures.
