Hi, my name is Roger.. im from Tulsa but have travelled extensively in the past as an aircraft inspector. so up until about 5 years ago i was working out of town alot. Recently i accepted a position here in town , bought a house and have decided to again make this town my home. I had a lot of trouble in my past due to alcholism but overcame it by the Grace of God and now live a fantastic life blessed by the Lord himself and i enjoy every minute of it. i told myself after my divorce in 1997 i would have nothing to do with women again , lol, and well i have pretty much kept my word to myself for 16 years or so. Here is my problem. i have everything going great for me now.. a really great job, a nice little house, God blessing me , and wonderful parents but doggonit now im finding myself feeling somewhat lonely these days. i truly hoped this wouldnt happen although i kind of figured it would sooner or later. so im gonna take a deep breath , step out on here and try to meet some people. I am a very nice man , age 46 as of july 2nd , i consider myself cool and laid back but charming and somewhat funny and like to be playful. i do know when to be serious and i do know when to let my hair down. although i dont have alot to let down these days hehe. i like all kinds of activities but my absolute favorite is working on my house on the weekends from work and then taking in an Imax movie or something in the evening or walking around at guthrie on the green at downtown. i like to fish, take walks, do housework, take drives out of the way places for a day just to see whats out there off the beaten path and i like beautiful fall days where the weather is 80 degress with a slight wind and just makes you feel great to be alive. i am looking for a certain kind of women though., just really to get to know and develop a friendship with. i am in no hurry to jump into a relationship at all! i went 16 years without one and i can go longer is needed although i really dont think i want to sit around alone much longer. if thats ok. i really, really would like to meet a lady that is self sufficient, comfortable in who she is and does not need a man to complete her, yet wants one because she wants to share what the special things she has to offer and develop a tight , trustworthy , honest relationship with someone that is loyal to a fault and trusting unconditionally. be warned... i got burned once so i may be a bit apprehensive being so trusting at first but it will come with time. i would really like to meet a female that is unique, smart, always eager to learn more about anything and everything and who has a curiosity of things such as i do. i like to explore , take paths not taken much and see whats out there that may be missed because its off the beaten path. i fear only the Lord and my Mom and would like to meet someone adventurous like me. :) now listen for a minute closely,, (whispers) i am not interested in sex .. !@ gasp, no really im not at this time. not here for a hook up and not wanting to be someone's hookup. im looking for a genuine new start with someone that may have had a bad past relationship and has lost the naive trust that can go with those. i would like to try and give my trust out again, but only to the right person and only after we become friends and know each other for more then a couple excursions wherever. i truly am a nice guy and hope to find a nice gal around my age that is maybe wanting to get back out there and see if there really is someone for each of us. if i hear from you i would be very happy to get to know you and chat here and then we will see if we both agree it may be worth pursuing a meeting in person we can make some kind of arrangements. lets keep it casual and i hope this reaches the one im looking for... until then..
