Hello there, Well my name is Angela and I'm originally from Ohio but have lived in Mankato MN for 6 years now. I came on this site to try and meet some nice and fun people to be around to make friends with. I do believe in friends before starting a relationship since you need something to hold it up like common interests and good communication. Don't you agree? But anyway, I love all kinds of music, pretty much anything except for heavy metal and hard core rap. I like to read, write, take walks, talk online, listen to baseball games, watch movies or tv, and lots more. I think I'm a nice person, and I like to get along with people, but who doesn't? lol. I think I'm a good listener and like to help people with their problems whenever I have the time to. I'm usually nice to people who are nice to me, but I'm not mean to those that aren't, i just don't give them much of the time of day. If I do meet someone on here and become friends and it sparks something more, let me tell you what I'm looking for then. I'm looking for someone who is kind, caring, honest, gentle, and looks at people for more than what's on the outside. I guess this would include disabilities to. We're just like everyone else, we just do things differently a little. But someone that I can have a good time with and laugh with and who I can trust and share anything with. That would be wonderful. I have a guide dog because I'm losing my vision. I've been blind all my life, but I live on my own and take care of myself, just like any other person would. I'm going to New Jersey on July 17th to get my third guide dog since the shepherd, chelsea didn't work out for me. I'm currently finding her a home, and then I will be heading off to get my next dog to help me get around. It's so exciting. I gave my first dog the golden retriever mix, Vernon, to my parents in Ohio on the day I went to the school to get chelsea. It was the hardest thing I had to do in my life, but he likes the retired life. Please don't let the blindness scare you away. I'm just like anyone else except I can't see that well, and I have to use adaptive technology to help me do things. I'm just talking about simple things like cooking, so I need a talking timer and I have a talking clock and bathroom scale. But I do love going out to movies and concerts, and reading, and listening to music like I said earlier and more. I don't have a job, but would like to get one. I don't judge by looks, so if you think you're too skinny or too heavy, no problem. It's all about personality for me here. If you like what you see, please send me a message.
