Ever heard the song "learning to fly" by Tom Petty? Seems like that is how getting back into the dating game is!! So sit back, hum the tune, and learn a little about me!! Hi ladies, a little about me, I recently moved back to my hometown of Dayton from Honolulu HI and am looking to meet a very special lady to spend some quality time with and get to know. I consider myself easy going and dependable individual. I have been working for the Government in one form or another for the past 2 1/2 decades and plan to finish my career in my hometown of Dayton. I consider myself a quite and calm individual and try not to let drama and stress get in my way. I like to do lots of things, from outdoor activites to simply chilling out and watching movies, but with my move and getting settled here in Dayton with my new job I have not done much of anything, but it is time to get out and about but I don't want to do it alone, thats no fun :) Well I started out down a dirty road Started out all alone And the sun went down as I crossed the hill The town lit up the world got still Im learning to fly but I aint got wings Comin down is the hardest thing I guess I am supposed to tell you a little about me and why you would want to meet me, so I will give you some of my positive features: I am employed by the Federal Government (yea a G-Man) as an Office Manager. I like working for the Government mainly because they are the only ones that still have a pension plan intact. I intend to finish my time with the government and retire here in Dayton since all my family lives here. I am not married or in a relationship, I have been divorced for over 10 years and that is way in the past and is no longer the focus of my everyday life (no baggage). Well the good old days may not return And the rocks might melt, and the sea may burn I’m learning to fly but I ain’t got wings Comin down is the hardest thing I enjoy music, golf, tennis, fishing, movies, time with family and friends, going to the flea markets and swap meets (never know what you will find) and I would like to start taking a yearly vacation now that I am finally settled in here in Dayton. I would like to experience new things that only come when you meet somebody new. It is amazing what each person you meet can bring you in new ways to do things, new interests and new ideas. I keep myself reasonable fit and trim, I have a home gym and use it several times each week, although I will never look like "Arnold", I do care about my appearance and work at keeping myself in decent shape for my age. I do know how to cook and believe it or not I usually keep my house looking like I am expecting company, it is usually neat and clean (rare for a guy huh)? I do not drink or do drugs. I consider myself a very calm and quiet individual (I think this is a plus for me anyhow, I dislike drama in my life, it is just how I am). As for the vital statistics I am 6'1" tall, weigh 185, brown hair, blue eyes (everybody tells me this is one of my best features, I like them myself lol), all parts present and working and I do work out often to try to stay this way but I am not a workout fanatic but do spend some each week trying to stay fit!! Well some say life will beat you down Break your heart, steal your crown So I started out for God knows where But I guess Ill know when I get there Im learning to fly around the clouds But what goes up must come down In a woman I would like to meet I would hope she has some of the same qualities as myself as well as that special touch that only a woman can bring into a relationship. Hopefully she is emotionally responsible as well and not carrying around lot if baggage and drama from the past that can spoil a new relationship. I do not believe in credit cards and I have none (nor none of the b.s. interest rate that come with them). if I cannot afford it I don't buy it and financial responsibility is very important to me. I consider myself financially and emotionally stable and I am responsible in my spending, I know what a budget is and how to have fun and save for retirement as well. My home and car are paid for and I am extremely happy to have these two big ticket items out of the way.
