Basics about me:
I am one of the few c/s natives. I spent a lot of my adult life traveling- Hawaii, Europe, Texas- for uncle sam and am happily at home again.
Music is in my soul, can't do anything without it... I spent 5 years learning to play piano, and am now looking to learn to play the guitar. Portable music!
I enjoy a rousing night at the karaoke bar once in a while. I will sing sometimes, but really prefer listening and singing along. The bar scene downtown is overrated, although you might occasionally find me dancing the night away to a favorite local band.
While I love to hike the local trails and will swim daily, yoga is my preferred form of therapy. It keeps me sane and is one of the better workouts I have found. Hoping to try Bikram this winter!
During warmer weather you will find me out on the trails, in my yard gardening or grilling. People-watching downtown, ice cream cone in hand, is always a good way to p an afternoon. I also enjoy day trips exploring small towns in the state.
I'm not much for cold weather so in the winter I can usually be found catching up on movies I missed or at the library/ bookstore checking out new reads.
I am open to trying anything once, well almost anything...
Who I am:
My friends will tell you that I am outgoing and friendly. I can talk to anyone and have no problem initaiting conversation. A social butterfly, really. I am generous to a fault and find that sometimes I give more of myself than I should, but I can't help it. It's who I am.
I am an eternal optimist and consider my gl half full.
Who I am looking for:
I am looking for a man who can be open minded and spontaneous, yet stable and grounded. Do they exist? He should have a career, but realize that what makes life truly rewarding is participating in things that feed your soul- things that you are pionate about, whatever they may be.
Laughing is high on my list of must-haves, so having a good sense of humor is very desireable.
I am indepndent by nature, but long for someone to belong to, someone whom I can lean on and rely on. Not for monetary support, but for support in general. The kind of best friend that has my back when the sh** hits the fan, not that I can't handle it myself, but it would be nice to have a partner.
