I'm comfortable in my own skin, very easygoing yet quite independent, softspoken yet can be quite expressive, grounded yet adventurous and will try most anything once, and I follow the golden rule. I enjoy my friends and I'm there when a friend calls me, and I can laugh when things get tough. I have a good sense of humor, sometimes dry, sometimes subtle and occasionally, well.... I'm not mean, I prefer irony over sarcasm and ideas over gossip, and I don't mind being teased (or teasing back). I can admit when I'm wrong, and I don't crow when I'm right (oh yeah, did I mention teasing?). I take care of business, but I'm not blindered to having fun. I'm retired but don't look it, and a scar here and there does it for body art, ha. I'm not a fitness buff, but I try to stay in fairly good shape and I like being active and outdoors. I like trying new or different things and activities, and I'll take that off-the-beaten path and have fun while I'm at it. I lean toward '70s to present rock, and like to play classic- and southern rock and some oldies, but I enjoy most styles of music except C&R (crap'n'rap - just does nothing for me). I've had long relationships but I've never been married, and I don't have any children. I can be quite romantic if there's that spark. From time to time, I've been known to chase a skirt, but that's 'a', as in 'one'. That skirt might be yours.... I'm drawn to a woman who is attractive both outside and inside. She's slim, shapely and good-looking. (You're thinking, "Really?" OK, so maybe you're actually laughing and thinking, "Really, with this guy's looks he couldn't sneak up on milk, and he's looking for slim, shapely and good-looking ME?") She's intelligent and adventurous, has a keen sense of humor, and is happy with heself. She's youthful and active, sensual, loving and lovable. She takes my breath away whenever, wherever, and however I see her. And... ... and... ... ...she wears skirts. ... ... just kidding, a skirt isn't necessary... ( ! ) ... er... I meant... (ahem)... can I rephrase that?... :D Sheesh, the above reads back as if I'm all about me; but I'm truly not, and those who know me know that. You could know me; if you 'got' my sense of humor, if I brought a smile to your lips, if I made you laugh, then perhaps we have something in common. Perhaps we'll find other things in common. Perhaps, even, each other... ... oh yeah, you gotta make me laugh too... : ) Isn't online dating the blindest of dates, or what? How about a quick meet for coffee or a drink, chat and laugh, see if we have things in common and chemistry... no pressure... ...and if we don't click, well... at a prearranged signal, I say something fresh, you slap me, and we go noisily and quickly out different doors flipping each other off and not paying the bill, and run for our cars.
