Hello. My name is Ashley. I've lived here just about all of my life and thought what the heck, I'll give this a shot! I'm an ambitious girl and also like to have fun. I have a 5 year old daughter and 9 month old son who I adore and try to spend as much time with them as possible. It is quite obvious now that I do not get out much! I love to travel, see and experience new things. I am very shy but once I get to know someone I open up and am more outgoing. I am an understanding and pionate person. I know who I am and what I would like out of life and relationships.
From my partner I want to feel safe, secure, loved and accepted. I need to feel important and not worthless. I want to be respected and feel like a woman. I want a partner that will stand by my side. I need my partner to love and accept not only me but also my children. I need my partner to understand my needs and priorities as I need to understand his. I also need to fulfill my partners needs so that our relationship will work.
I've made mistakes as we all have and I strive to focus on what is important to me and what would be good for my children. I've learned that relationships are not as easy as what people may think. Relationships take time, effort, compion, sacrifices and compromises just to name a few. I've also learned that it takes understanding and giving up is just the easy way out. I've learned that you have to fight for what you want and not to take relationships for granted because the other person has feelings too. I've learned to put the shoe on the other foot and see it from their point of view also.
I've learned that if you want people to confide in you, know you, if you want someone to see the beauty within, if you want someone to believe in you and respect you - you must first learn to do these things for yourself. Most importantly, if you want someone to love you, you must first love yourself.
I've learned to treat people the way that I would like to be treated. I've learned that it's ok to take chances, to fall in love and to get hurt. That's life and if you never try then you'll never know.
