I'm looking for someone to share the rest of my life with. Don't let that intimidate you . . . I realize that's a LONG shot. So for now I'd be content just meeting people that I have a few things in common with and with whom I have great chemistry. Then, we can take it from there . . .
I truly dislike the idea of spending time on an online dating site. But, I’m way past the age where I spend endless hours with other single friends out-and-about drinking in bars or other places where I might meet someone. Most of my adult ociations are through work, Church, or the parents of my children's friends. If you're not a friend-of-a-friend, someone I bump into at the grocery store, or meet at Church . . . we're never going to connect. So, I find myself here dealing with what I consider to be this "necessary evil" on the road to meeting someone.
Important things to know about me before you waste time contacting me.
- I have two wonderful children (13 year old boy, and 15 year old girl) that are with me roughly every other weekend.
- I am a Christian. I don't consider myself to be any sort of fanatic, but would not be compatible with someone that is not like-minded.
- My goal is to meet someone in person . . . not trade endless emails. So, aside from a couple of brief exchanges to learn a bit about each other, I really want to get off of here and meet over coffee or lunch. I firmly believe that one cannot judge chemistry from a few cherry picked photos and a biased autobiography. Face-to-face is the only way to tell.
If none of that bothers you, you profile doesn't include photos that are over ten years old, you live reasonably close to Bellaire, TX, and you're interested in meeting over coffee or lunch . . . please let me know!
