I drink like a fish early in the day but am an amiable drinker and quit early. Anyone with a problem with a "reasonable" drinker should pass and look at another of my peers. Some of my qualities: perceptive, realistic, down-to earth, accepting, flexible, self-aware, adaptable, pionate, receptive, reliable, genuine, thoughtful, reflective, meditative and caring. I believe that you should do unto others as you would have them do unto you and I know that friends help their friends. At the same time, I expect others to hold up their end of the bargain and not take advantage. I enjoy being with people, but understand that I am best when I can also spend a fair amount of time on my own. Not that I am a loner, but I understand that if you don't take care of yourself, you can't take care of others. I am equally comfortable with ideas and beliefs that I have held for a long time and new ways of thinking and believing that I may encounter. My sense of who I am and my place in the world have served me well and provide a solid foundation for my sense of self and my ability to accept others' ideas and beliefs. I love to learn and absorb new information quickly regarding the things that matter to me. I am emotionally flexible. When emotions arise, I know how to deal with them in a perceptive and flexible way. At other times, I am aware of what does and does not make sense emotionally for a given situation. I enjoy playing video and computer games (sometimes even with my daughters), I'm still a kid at heart or maybe I’m just a closet geek! I enjoy staying home or a friend's house, but I like going out too occasionally … movies, restaurants, beach ..... I grew up in New England. I spent the most time in a neighborhood called Federal Hill in Providence, Rhode Island ... think Little Italy in NY with the sidewalk fruit vendors and corner cafe's. I learned a lot of good values like family first from the Italian families that I grew up with. I believe that there are very few things in life that you should stress or get angry over. You can't control the wind, but you can adjust your sails. People are people and they will think and do what is right for them or at least what they think is right. I am looking for beautiful, intelligent, independent active woman. Some qualities that I believe are important (ok, actually a lot of qualities): caring, generous, patient, communicative, affectionate, supportive, family oriented, confident, open minded, appreciative, perceptive, decisive, easy going, physical, loyal, sexy, respectful, tolerant and kid friendly. This should be easy to find, right? I feel great relationships are built on communication, honesty, dedication, understanding, patience and trust. Friends can talk about almost anything without worrying about being judged. A good friend will let you honestly express your opinions or hopes and will let you know about their own.
