I work at the local hospital in the extended care unit.I have worked with the elderly for nine years.It 's more than a job for me, it 's part of who I am.To see one of my resident 's face light up when I walk into a room makes my job more rewarding than any other I could possibly imagine.Although, at times it is hard when the time comes to say good bye to my dear friends, who become like family, their memories live with me forever.I have learned empathy, compion, and the very essence of what humanity consists of from being in the nursing field so long. I have a pion for music.A song can become like a true friend, touching your soul and understanding when no one else does.I listen to all sorts of music from clical, oldies, to pop.I prefer to p on rap and rage music though.Discovering new bands is a hobby of mine.I can often be found browsing the internet for new talent that deems worthy of my attention.Although I love all music, it is clical that breathes into my soul the most.I love to relax late at night in a nice warm bubble bath, with a cup of hot tea while listening to the great forgotten talents that once touched our entire nation. I 'm the kind of person that sings into the mop while cleaning, and I don 't care who catches me!LOLI love to laugh and enjoy life for what it is.Life has it 's ups and downs but it 's what you make of it that counts!I 've been known to turn just about anything into a microphone, my poor hairbrush has been used on countless occasions.LMAO I love to read.My reading preferences range from the great works of Charles ****ens and William Shakespeare to Dean Koontz and Stephen King.When a book can steal me for awhile from reality and take me into a new and wonderful world, I 'll read it again and again. My taste in movies is rather expansive.I love anything with a good plot however it really just depends on my mood.Of course, being female I love romantic comedy, John Tucker Must Die, Get Over It, 10 Things I Hate About You, and so on and forth.And then there is horror .There is nothing like the rush you can achieve from a well written and directed horror flick!It 's been awhile since I 've seen a horror flick that has been capable of giving me that rush though . was a good movie however I was disappointed in how much it drifted from the original story it was written after. I don 't watch a lot of television however I do love X-Files!I have every season on DVD.I think the show kind of went downhill after Mulder left though .I also enjoy watching ghosthunters on sci-fi.
