Disclaimer... There is danger that the following profile may lead you, the reader, to develop feelings of unbearable boredom and/or extreme dislike of I, the writer. Also, I am a dedicated single father, so sadly, to the ladies that want someone with no children or want someone willing to lie about having none, you may scratch my name off your list. And now, to the empty expanse devoid of potential dates remaining, I say... I describe myself as an intelligent, funny, articulate, compionate, urban renaissance man. Admittedly an odd description but one derived from the opinions of those that know me best, therefore, probably bold faced lies! LOL! As you can see, I am a pracioner of self deprecating humor. I have an “interesting upbringing having grown up in Watts California. I’ve been in NM for ten years, am a knowledge junkie and am e to lose myself in things that may seem trivial to some, but what the hell, if it’s interesting, I’m in. I am not religious, so if it’s imperative that your potential date be of a certain belief system, I’m probably not your guy J I believe in God, right and wrong etc… just don’t subscribe to the ways people have been manipulated in the name of religion among other things. I respect others’ beliefs and would never look down on their believing in their respective faiths and in fact encourage myself to learn all I can about all I can.. but I also believe I can respect others and have my own sense of understanding guide me in my own life’s growth. I’m a very low key type of guy, shy initially and e to bouts of blushing. Luckily my skin color will prevent you from ever knowing. I am pionate about my work and have strong opinions regarding certain issues, but generally I’m very discreet and keep my opinions to myself, unless you ask of course. Although I am not the best looking, smartest, nor most charismatic guy in the world, I do have a certain standard when it comes to the opposite sex. Age is not an issue, pardon, let me rephrase that, emotional age is not an issue. That is to say, if you are 30 and still believe teenager type drama is something worth dedicating emotional and mental power to, we’re probably not compatible. BTW, that applies to any age group. I grew up with a single mother, so I have certain feminist leanings, so please, if you believe glorifying the idea that being a “*****” is some sort of badge of honor, respectfully, not compatible. Strength and empowerment need not be portrayed with negativity for those qualities to have an effect on me. I’m looking to chat and maybe see if there’s a connection, so I’m not some weirdo looking for “easy” girls. I’d be as interested to chat with a potential friend, as I am to meet a potential date. I respect honesty in people in general, and can see through bull**** in 5 minutes, although I’d never show it. I love compion in people. I am a liberal/socialist type so you can imagine if you are a materialistic, needy, self-absorbed type, with all respect, not my type. I don’t care how beautiful a girl/woman is, if there’s no substance, then I’d be willing to say no and save you the trouble of realizing what a terrible choice I was J I believe I can never have a good enough excuse to stop trying to learn and grow. Hoping you feel the same. Rather than go through some horribly judgmental description requiring age, weight, race, etc… I will simply say, I am a male human being looking to meet female human being.
