Let's go play golf, go to an Astro's game, read a good book together, ride motorcycles, go to dinner or cook a great one together. I enjoy traveling, planned or unplanned. Some of my best trips have been made by tossing a coin or throwing a dart at a map. The adventure of the journey, not necessarily the destination is where I find the most joy. I love any kind of music (clical to blues) and seeing a live band is one of my favorite things to do on a Saturday night. I love reading books and learning new things. I think we all have so much that we can learn from one another and each day gives me hope that I'll meet that "special someone" in a chance meeting or I'll meet a fascinating new friend that can teach me something new about life or myself. My date would be adventurous, spontaneous, kind, smart, witty and above all loyal. I'm a widow of almost 2 years now and have 2 beautiful grown sons in college. I miss my husband dearly but realize that he is a part of my past. I try not to carry any baggage in that regard but he did make me the woman I am today, so for that I'm thankful. Family is very important to me however I always make time to make sure "mom" is happy. As my children get older, I'm finding more and more things out about myself ... I'm having a great time doing it. Oh and if you aren't into laughing and I mean laughing 'til your side aches and your eyes water, then we probably aren't a good match. Laughter (Joy) I believe is the cure for what ails us all.
