My interests should have my son as #1. I am a recently single mom of one who enjoys music, reading, dancing, traveling,and fun stuff like kayaking, canoeing, snorkeling, camping, hiking, and scrambling on rocks. I believe love can find you anywhere, but it seems to look for you with more effort when you are not actively searching for it. I am not looking for love, but friendship. Where friendship might LEAD, you never know. Let me add this: if you don't know who you are or what you want to be, please leave me alone. My heart has been broken by someone like you, and I don't care to repeat that experience. As far as long-distance friendships/relationships: I am totally fine with those. Prefer that right now, to be quite frank. Not because I am a hermit or a freak or because I am not who I present myself to be. I just think that friendship without the added pressure of intimacy is an excellent way to get to know someone. I have time-tested friendships to prove me right.
