Time is the most precious commodity we have on this planet, please don’t waste mine. This is my last rodeo ladies. . My first loves were and are: The outdoors, pretty much anything outdoors. Whether it’s traveling & seeing new things, on the water, in the mountains or desert etc. or just working outdoors building a fence or mowing the lawn; I like to be outdoors. Animals. I’m partial to dogs and horses. I like them and they like me. That says something too. Literature and movies.. I like the clics and the great authors. Dumas, Hugo, Dostoyevsky, Steinbeck, Ayn Rand, Verne, Wells etc. I like books and movies that make a statement, have a message or teach a m. I do not like violence or nudity in movies for their sake alone. I don't like horror movies. I don't understand why anyone wants to be scared or watch bloody scenes. Music. I believe music is a window to the soul, it touches me. Hendrix, Clapton, Beatles, Santana, B. Raitt, Joni Mitchell, Little Feat, Doors, K.D. Lang etc. I also enjoy country. Especially George Strait, Toby Keith, Brooks and Dunn, Randy Travis, Patsy Cline and Hank Williams Sr. I also like the Blues. B.B., Paul Butterfield etc. Rap is not music. It is violent, vile and profane. If you’re at all interested in me , you must like music. I cannot live without music. Wood. I love the smell of fresh cut wood and the beauty of it’s grain. I love antiques. I refinish and rebuild them. I have many family heirlooms. I like to work with my hands and create things. Whether it’s refinishing an antique or building a house or a fence or a flood gate. I love women in general. I admire the beauty of a woman. Women are so much more interesting and diverse than men. The Old Testament says women are a gift of God. What a wonderful and beautiful gift. Although I love women in general, I am a devoted one woman man. I pionately believe in , one man - one woman. I will fill your heart with so much love it will flow all over you. I will make you the center of my universe, you will be my Axis, my Queen. Hopefully you will make me feel like a King. I am not a member of any organized religion. I was raised a Christian and know who Jesus was and of his teachings. But I'm not sure. I may be more Buddhist than anything. I know of a Higher Power. I see "Him" everyday in the outdoors that I love. The mountains, trees, lakes , oceans, flowers, the animals; In all the miracles & beauty that surround us and so many take for granted. I believe we are here to learn. That this is just one step in a much longer journey that we are taking. I do not believe in Death. One last thought here and some of you may know where this is from. "No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn." Though I drive Trucks, I work in Austin and I am home every day. I don't do Over The Road. I am a very private person. I like to travel and see new things. But I get nervous when I leave my beloved Texas. I am a bit of a home-body. I love my home. (It's not a house- it's a home.) I live in the country and have a 10 acre homestead. I watch very little network T.V. or news. 99% of it is disgusting. I watch Austin City Limits, Biographies, Discovery, Nat. Geo. etc. when I do watch anything on TV. I have an ytical mind but I am a romantic. I should have been an architect. I can design and build a house from scratch. Wood, wiring & plumbing - and have. It has been a constant battle between the ytical and romantic all my life. But I am a romantic. I like to hold hands, to touch. To cuddle & to make love with and too my partner. I love being in love. I want to be in love- every day. Every minute of every day. "If you ain't lovin', you ain't livin'. Loneliness is such a drag. I want someone to share it all with. I have been and intend to be in love again. Love without pion is no love at all. Life without dreams, is like love without pion. Sunrise and sunset are my favorite times of day. I think sunset is my favorite. The peace and tranquility as all creatures get ready for a night of rest and the day to come. Like Satchmo said, "It's a Wonderful World.” I still believe in magic. ( If you don't know what I mean by the last sentence, I'm sorry for you ) So there it is Ladies. I don't know what more I can say or how to be any more honest with y'all. This isn't a one way street and we aren't in high school anymore.
