I am a laid-back guy longing for a laid-back girl. I don't do drama very well and have been known to remove myself from the immediate area until the drama is back to a manageable level. I would rather stay up all night talking about an issue than fight about it for 5 minutes. I am retired from the Air Force with 22 years in and have been all over the world; some of which you will never find out about from me. I love this great country of ours and am so thankful every day that God had chosen this great place for me to live. That being said, I am not a "true southerner" though I do have Cajun in my blood. I was transplanted here by the grace of God and have grown quite attached to it; though I do miss my snow in the mountains back home. I grew up in a family of bluegrass musicians and have taken that charge on. Though I do not necessarily press the "true-bluegrass" I do play multiple instruments, but guitar is my go-to instrument. And regardless of which type of music you like or listen to it all roots back to bluegrass. Me, personally? I like country...mid-80's to current. I like rock...well... pretty much rock (but put on some AC/DC or Motley Crue and the volume tends to increase a little for some reason). Very little rap music do I like, but there is some modern music that is listenable / bearable. I just get disappointed with no instruments... that is just a computer making noise. I also like christian rock. So, imagine if you would, taking a ride in my car. You might hear a Bon Jovi song, followed by a Luke Bryan song, followed by AC/DC (turn it up), followed by a Third Day song. So, I guess I could have made this much shorter and just said I like music. It is my life blood and the sound of silence is deafening to me!! I have nothing against hunting; but these days my personal choice is wildlife photography. That being said, it doesn't mean I will never hunt. I would be more than happy to go out and support you or your family if the situation arose. It has been so long since I hunted last that I would certainly be open to learning and who knows...maybe get back into it myself. Let's see, what else can I tell you about? Oh, I will leave you with this. I was raised around guns and I REALLY enjoy shooting my guns and it would be amazing to find someone that enjoys it as much as I do. I also just got into the Game of Thrones series on HBO Demand and am halfway through season 2. I will leave you now as I have written much more than you likely are willing to read.
